Alipay is a payment platform mostly famous in the China. The founder company of
the Alipay is Alibaba. Alipay beats PayPal as the world’s largest mobile payment platform in
2013. The functionality of Alipay includes 65 financial institutions which also includes Visa
and Mastercard. The paper will discuss the different perspective of Alipay.
Benefits of using Alipay:
The main benefits of Alipay is that it can be used in the smartphones. For the local in
store payments QR code is used. The credit card bill payment and the management of the
bank accounts can be done through the use of Alipay. Apart from that peer to peer
transactions and purchasing tickets, ordering foods, paying the insurance bills can be done
through Alipay (Guo & Bouwman, 2016). Apart from that Alipay has introduced services
regarding the credit card repayment system that supports the accounts of the domestic banks.
One of the main advantage of this credit card repayment system through Alipay is that credit
card bill payment and repayments does not requires any administration fee.
Apart from that the use of Alipay is supporting the cashless transaction that will help
many business organizations to expand the business. The transaction of the money can be
made from overseas account easily as Alipay supports the transaction in the international
context (Xu, Ghose & Xiao, 2018). The sales or the income tax can be collected through the
purchasing of the goods in overseas through the use of Alipay transaction.
Problems faced during the use of Alipay:
The main problem with the Alipay is the security of the overall system. The Alipay
operator was accused in the case of breaching of the data. However, the privacy policies were
modified after the breaching of the data is identified.

Detailed mechanism used in Alipay:
Alipay is a third party payment system, which can be used for making the payments
through the credit and debit cards. The Alipay is associated with the 64 financial institutions.
Apart from that for the credit card repayment, this payment application has the collaboration
with the 34 domestic banks.
Difference and similarities between Alipay and other online payment system:
The difference between the Alipay and the other online payment system raised by
through the smart and strategic business strategy made by the Alibaba group. At first PayPal
was failed to capture the market of China.
People are preferring Alipay because, the transfer of the money to the ban accounts
can be done within two hours. No extra fee is needed to paying the credit card bills. Apart
from that the mobile recharge can be done with credits. Other facilities like checking the
balances and buying tickets along with ordering foods can be done through the Alipay.
The other online transaction system acts only as the platform for money transfer. On
the other hand Alipay can be used for different purpose. This will help this online application
a competitive advantage.
Conclusion
The paper has discussed the different aspects of the Alipay payment system. In this
context, the discussion has done regarding the difference of Alipay with the other online
payment system. Moreover, the benefits and the working principals have also been described
in this context. However, there are some problems regarding the breaching of the data in the
system. Alipay was accused of not maintaining the security in a proper way. The changes in
the security specification were done after this acquisition. It has been seen that with the use of

the smart strategy, the expansion of the Alipay is achieved and it is extensively used by the
online payment system for different purpose.

Abstract
Maintaining the sustainability in the IT business is an important issue as it will help
the organization to get the competitive advantage. Apart from that, the productivity can be
increased through maintaining the sustainability in the process of the functioning of the
organization. It has been seen that sustainability can be achieved through the networks and
collaboration (Breuer & Lüdeke-Freund, 2017). The main objective of this paper is to
evaluate the different aspects and significance of network, collaboration and the sustainability
and its impact on the IT business.

Introduction
Sustainability in the IT business can be described as the process of the developing the
business technology in the organization in a proper way along with maintaining the future
scope for the further development.
The sustainability in the business can be achieved through the different applications
and the collaborations between the different departments of the organization (Kiron et al.,
2015). The collaboration between the departments in the organization can be done through
the proper flow of communication in the organization
The main objective of this paper is to understand the importance of maintaining the
network and the collaboration for maintaining the sustainability in the IT business.

Sustainability in IT business: Maintaining the sustainability in the It business can be
defined by managing the bottom line of the business through which the organization can
maintain financial, environmental and social risks.
The sustainability in the IT business can be maintained by implementation of the
different technologies (Durugbo, 2016). However, the implementation is needed to be done in
such way so that there is a scope for the further improvements in future.
The sustainability can be achieved from both business and organizational perspective.
From the business perspective, it can be said that the maintaining the sustainability means the
implemented technology in the business organization can be beneficial for the
implementation of the current functioning (Lee & Vachon, 2016). Although, there is a scope
for the future development of the project in the organization through the modification of the
implemented technology.
Sustainability can be achieved rom the environmental perspective. In this context, the
business organizations can reduce the use of the energy consumption during the functionality
(Rauter, Jonker & Baumgartner, 2017). Many of the IT business farms are adopting the
emerging technologies those will be helpful to mitigate the energy emission as well as the
carbon footprint.
Steps to create sustainable business strategy
There are certain steps those can be used for the implementation of the sustainable
business strategy (Lopes et al., 2017). In this context, it has been seen that collaboration and
maintaining the network in the business organization will be helpful to maintain the
sustainability in IT business.
The first step of this process includes the definition of the objectives for the
organization regarding maintaining the sustainability. In order implement the sustainability

objectives some of the factors like the culture of the organization, diversity in the use of the
technology and impact of the functionalities of the business organization to the society are
needed to be evaluated.
In order to understand these factors there are need for making the communication
network with the consumers as well as the collaboration between the different organizations
needed to be achieved (Schulz & Flanigan, 2016). This will help the organization to analyse
the data in a proper way (Schaper, 2016). In this situation the organization may use the
SMART objective for the implementation.
The sustainable strategy also indicates the use of the biodegradable resources and
mitigation of the carbon footprint (Weissbrod & Bocken, 2017). In order to maintain the
sustainable development in IT the collaboration is needed between the IT business
organization and the resource suppliers (Biloslavo, Bagnoli & Edgar, 2018). In order to
maintain the collaboration proper maintenance of the network is needed.
Before the starting of the project the documentation of the requirements is needed to
be done in a proper way. The requirement documentation will indicate the level of
sustainability the organization wants to achieve. On the basis of the requirement
documentation, the allocation and the collection of the resources can be done in a proper way.
In the execution phase, the sustainable technology like the use of the solar system can be
done. This will make the methodology for the project implementation sustainable. Apart from
that it is needed to be maintained that the outcome of the project is also sustainable.
Maintaining the network and the collaborative partnership:
It has been seen that the marinating the network and the collaborative partnership will
be helpful for the developing the sustainability in the business organization. It has been seen
that many of the technology and IT companies are collaborating with each other for the

proper development of the project (Cantino et al., 2017). The IT organization can collaborate
with both technical and non-technical organizations in order to maintain the sustainability in
the system.
The multi sector partnership can be maintained in case of maintaining the
sustainability. In this situation the information technology organization may get encouraged
to implement the sustainability through the collaborative partnership. In this context, it has
been seen that many information technology organizations are using the solar power energies
for operating the daily functionalities.
E-waste is a problem that can become a constraint for maintaining the sustainability in
a proper way. In this case, some of the IT device manufacturing companies are using
biodegradable resources for reducing the impact of the e-waste.
The collaboration also indicates the partnership between the government sectors and
the IT business organization. In some cases, it has been seen that the government has
supported the movement of the organization regarding maintenance of the sustainability
(Searcy,2016). Apart from that it has been seen that the collaboration and maintaining the
network communication between the business organizations and the resource suppliers is
important and maintaining the network is dependent upon that.
Internal collaboration for the sustainable development of IT is also needed to be
considered for the sustainable development of the project. It has been seen that the internal
collaboration and the organization’s inclination towards maintaining the sustainability will
help the organization to maintain the sustainability in the IT business.
Conclusion
The discussion is regarding maintaining the sustainability in the organization through
the network and collaboration. It has been seen that there are different scopes and the

opportunities for the organizations dealing with IT to maintain the sustainability in a proper
way. In this context, the government collaboration for maintaining the sustainability is also
described in the process. Apart from that the communication between the IT business

products. The use of the merging technology is needed to be done so that the carbon foot
print can be mitigated in the use of the products. It has been seen from the discussion the
collaboration and the network is dependent on each other for maintaining the sustainability.
