Alteryx is a software that provides advanced data analytics in terms of managing business analysts,
which are looking for self-service solution. Alteryx provides many services to their clients, and mainly it
provides gallery, server, and designer facility to blend data from different structured and unstructured
data from external sources and generate data analysis reports based on the requirements of business.
Each member of organization can use it separately for his or her specific purpose. It provides a well-
defined structure, evaluates data from multiple internal and external sources of an organization, and
organizes all the data into comprehensive insights. That data can be used into decision-making process
and other processes of an organziation. It reduces risks of an organziation based on the data analysis
reports based on the data. It is easy to use and run in the premises of an organization as well as on
cloud-based infrastructure. It provides different solutions of business problems through the data science
and data processing.
This report will explain about the Alteryx and its different processes, which are beneficial for decision-
making process of an organziation based on the data analytics. It will also describe about the
implementation and uses of this novel technology.

Alteryx is a platform that is used for preparing and blending data into decision-making processes and
reducing extra cost of different business process based on the summarization of information in an
unreliable manner. It is an easy to learn software. Therefore, it does not take long time to learn. It is a
frag-and-drop interface. It is also implement is easy way into an organization. It is business intelligence
software, which is highly used in an organziation to identify their risk and profits in different processes
based on the data.
Alteryx provides full security and privacy of data and information of an organziation. Data collects from
different sources, such as database, data warehouses, big data, Hadoop, document files, and many other
sources. It uses scripting tool to blend data into the analysis reports. It is a way in which used tools to
mine required information for business. It provides good level of customization and personalization in
their services, which is better for understanding point of view.

annual basis to their customers. It divides customer in two types, which is large enterprises, and
medium business. In addition, it provides data analytics facility in two modes, which are based on
premise and cloud hosted based on the user requirements.
In present era, different companies provide this type of services. There are few companies, which are
trending in this field, such as MLens, Zoho analytics, Cloud9, and many others. It has competitors in
market, which are Hosted Graphite, segment, Adaptive suite, and Vizbi. These are main competitors in
present time of Alteryx. Data analytics is a compulsory step to find present condition based on the
previous data related to organization ( Howe). According to (Isik, , Jones and Sidorova), business
intelligence provides different capabilities to enhance the business of organization. It is a way to manage
all the things in a proper way. There are many reasons to used business intelligence in the business
process, such as better decision-making, and many more (Laney).

Alteryx is USA based company and its headquarter is situated in Irvine, CA. it founded in 2010 and now it
is having more than 400 clients, which are grab different services and products from Alteryx. Beside it, it
provides different functions, which are data blending, sharing insights, predictive analytics, and special
analytics (Alteryx has a Good Platform to Become a Data Analytical Person.). It provides these functions
with more than 100 times faster than traditional approaches. It provides a new power to an organziation
to reduces costs from the different business processes and invest in the right direction to gain huge
profit and growth in future (ALTERYX). According to (Bloodworth), mapping stack is highly required to
maintain data in a proper way, which can provide better results in different functions of Alteryx. Data
analytics is a boom in present business strategies, which are based on the digital technologies, such as
big data (Chen, Chiang and Storey).
According to (Dinsmore), these softwares are disruptive innovation, which replaces all the approaches
and provide better results in less time. Alteryx can provide tax calculation and management based on
the large amount of data (Edupuganty and Madden). Business intelligence is better from the user
perspective, as it provides data analysis report and user can take actions based on that reports to get
success with high probability (Mentz, Jooste and Van Biljon). According to (Obeidat, North and
Richardson), business intelligence is a future trend, which provides huge benefits to an organization in
terms of revenue, profit, and growth. .According to (Ray and Trovati), business intelligence softwares are
necessary for managing different functions of an organziation because of it provides different
advantages. It is also completion from competitors. Business intelligence is an interface between
business processes and technologies (Sabherwal and Becerra-Fernandez).
According to (Sun, Song and Jara), big data analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) are highly used in the
business processes to overcome risks from business of an organization. Decision support system and
business intelligence are work in a same direction and it provides benefits to the organziation in terms
of revenue from different business processes (Turban, Sharda and Delen).
Business intelligence is based on the large amount of data, without data it is nothing. Therefore, it is
necessary to use data warehouses for data storage (Vercellis). According to (Williams), Alteryx can
provide better services in future, which makes an organziation more successful in upcoming time.
Business intelligence is used for enterprise computing environment, which is a basic requirement of an
organization in present era (Zeng, Li and Duan).

Alteryx provides a Server Quick Start consulting services for its server implementation. Team will provide
guidance to clients with these steps:
 Implementation planning: in this executive will discuss about the requirements of company.
 Administrator workshop: it provides different things in a workshop, such as server configuration,
installation, testing, and performance monitoring.
 Data analyst workshop: in this workshop, it will provide different module to use the software,
such as analytic application construction, module creation, and data mentoring and coaching.
 Executive workshop: in this executive will explain about the features of Alteryx, such as Alteryx

Conclusion
It is concluded from the above parts of this report that Alteryx is a platform that provides business
intelligence services to more than four hundreds customers in all around the world. However, there are
many vendors in the market, which provides same services. In addition, Alteryx has made a wide market
from their fully satisfied services to their customers. It provides data analytics and data blending services
to different organziation.
Finally, it is concluded that Alteryx will be provide better services to their customers for their growth and
profit in future.
