Introduction
Amazon Company is one of the most successful companies within the world. Its success
has been achieved through many ways and one of them being the organizational behaviour.
Literature Review
In order to manage its diversity, the Company formalized the practice of comprising all the
women plus minorities within its pool of employees (Ioannou, Serafeim, 2012). The challenges
that Amazon has faced in terms of organizational behaviour are; improvement of people skills,
empowering people and coping up with temporariness (Jones, 2013). The employees within the
Company are motivated through job promotions, offering of medical cares and sponsorship for
vacations (Zhang, Bartol, 2010). Amazon is affected with the regulations such as complying with
the new policy for financial services for cybersecurity, pricing policy and environmental
regulation policies (Sousa, Veiga, Van Zyl, Telmer, Spiegel, Selder, 2011). The mission
statement for the Company is to incorporate all the values and ethics of each and every employee
within the organization. The statement states and guides on how each employee within the
Company should conduct himself or herself (Grant, Jordan, 2015). Organizational behaviour
outside USA is emphasized on equal treatment of every employee within the organization. No
employee should be disrespected no matter the situation (Bolman, Deal, 2017). The Company
has gone global by distributing products that are of high quality throughout the world (Lambin,
Meyfroidt, 2011). The Company has tried to maintain quality standards needed globally. The
Company has succeeded in organizational change through employing qualified candidates who
fit their work of specialization (Palmer, Dunford, Akin, 2016). The Company has also tried to
appreciate the efforts of those that have made great achievement within the Company (Bradler,
Dur, Neckermann, Non, 2016). In order to ensure competency within the organization, the

Company first hires people on contract basis so that it can measure their efforts before
employing them permanently (Nolte, Agrawal, Silvius, Soares-Filho, 2013).
