organizational structure. The senior team of management of this company which includes three
CEOs and the vice presidents are responsible towards the vital aspects of the business
functions that will be reported directly to the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos. The organizational
structure of Amazon is characterized by the following features, that includes the heretical
structure of the organization that is developed sue to the immense size of its business. The
company of Amazon is also the largest retailer in internet across the entire globe by the revenue
that provides employment to more than 6 lakhs people across the globe.
The organizational structure of Amazon is also characterized by a great degree of
flexibility that makes the company adaptable to the frequent changes taking place in the
workplace environment. The flexibility is also caused by the disruptive innovation patterns in the
e commerce sector that will result a change in the global logistics industrial domain. The online
retail giants has also led to the various changes in the external environment of the business
sector. This happens mainly due to the efficient pattern of leadership that is provided by the
management team of Amazon (Vallejo, Cielo and García 2019).
