1. Introduction
1.1 Background of Amazon
Amazon is one of the largest online retail stores that had employed the use of information
system development for forming the improvement of the operations (Amazon.com.au. 2018).
Amazon had spread its branches all over the globe and it had resulted in easing the professional
development of the activities. The advent of the information technology had helped in listing the
management of the functional development of the organization’s processes. A number of system
developments had been carried on for aligning the simplification of the operations and
maintenance of the global operations in the organization.
1.2 Report Description
The following report is developed for the project of Upgrading the Payment Processing
System for Amazon and it would show the activities that are required for the up-gradation of the
existing payment process in Amazon. The payment processing in Amazon is based on the
selection of the COD or payment via cards (Credit/Debit cards). However, the development of
technology has made it more effective for paying securely via payment platforms like PayPal or
Amazon Pay itself.
The rest of the report comprise of highlighting the time management plan for the project
of Upgrading the Payment Processing System for Amazon and the task sequencing approaches.
The options of fact finding, organization chart, AS-IS diagram, and final report to top
management would allow the formation of the effective management process.

2.2 Task Sequencing Approaches
The project has been made by following agile iterative method for the implication of the
improved functional operations. The task sequencing approach is helpful for listing the
management of the activities in a sequential method for the alignment of the improved functional
development model (Hegazy 2013). The deployment of the activities is aligned for the
continuation of the project of improved payment processing system. The selection of the agile
methodology for project plan development is helpful for listing the tasks in a more sequential
model. The sequencing of the tasks in a more effective model would help in forming the
management of the functional and effective operations.
According to Kerzner (2015), the agile methodology is very effective and it allows the
integration of the effective and improved addition of the activities. The activities can be modified
in the interim for the modification of the effective operation development. The alignment of the
successive factors of the development of the project plan is helpful for listing the continuation of
the supportive development models. The formation of the operations would be helpful for the
deployment of the iterative activities and they can be modified as required.
The project plan comprises of initiation phase, planning phase, design phase, system
development, system implementation and training, testing, and final documentation and closure.
The completion of all these phases would help in developing the final project deliverable. The
explanation of the phases are given below,
Initiation Phase The initiation phase is implied for the accumulation of the resources and
development of the activities. The initial documentation is also carried

on this phase of the project.
Planning Phase The planning phase is deployed for developing a list of activities and
forming the deployment of the management of the activities.
Design Phase Design phase is characterized by the implication of the successive and
effective development modes. The design development is helpful for
forming the deployment of the system design.
System Development The project is aligned with the operation of the improved functional and
operational development. The system development would help in
forming the management of the activities.
System
Implementation and
Training
The system implementation and training is aligned with the deployed
management process. The training is aligned with the activities for
forming the deployment and operations.
Testing The testing activities and the alignment would form the deployment and
the organization would help in listing the management of the operations.
Final Documentation
and Closure
The final documentation is deployed for the formation of the operations
and alignment of the operations. The project closure is aligned with the
analysis of the successive alignment of the operations.
3. Fact Finding
The fact finding plan is developed for collecting data and develop improved project plan
for implementing the new system for Amazon. The existing payment processing requires the
modification of the operations and alignment of the functions (Larson and Gray 2013). The fact

finding plan for the project of Upgrading the Payment Processing System for Amazon consists of
the following steps,
Interviews with Employees and Customers: The modification of the operations for
payment process can be assisted with the help of data collected from the deployment of the
interviews. The interviews with employees and customers would help us in understanding their
expectations and requirements (Martinelli and Milosevic 2016). The interview process can be
executed with the help of improved documentation and operations.
Documentation Review: The documentation review is implied for the analysis and
evaluation of the improved compression development (Weber, Fulk and Monge 2016). The
documentation review is helpful for analysing the deployment of the effective operation
management. The documentation review is aligned with the management of the operations and
formation of the proper documentation process.
Observation: The observation is helpful for forming the development of the improved
analysis of the operations (Fleming and Koppelman 2016). The observation is helpful for
deployment of the activities and the allowance of the operations and enlisting the management of
the profound system development. The observation is a slow process where the analysis of the
activities and their outcomes are done profusely.
Questionnaire: According to Pritchard and PMP (2014), it is the simplest method of
collecting information and it can be deployed with the help of forming the analysis of the
effective and improved questionnaire development. The questionnaire collection is carried on
with the help of developing a list of questions and forwarding it to a group of people for getting
the answers.

Research: The research is done by collecting information from various resources and
aligning the deployment of the activities for forming the deployment of the successful integration
method (Nicholas and Steyn 2017). The research method is aligned with the formation of the
evaluation of the research methodology.
The method of questionnaire should be used at first as it is the most prominent and easy
method of calculating the deployment of the activities (Sears et al. 2015). The questionnaire is
deployed for calculating the operation and the modification of the activities for the deployment
of the successive pointing of the operations. The analysis would be implied for the deployment
of the operations and listing the management of the operations. The listing of the data collection
is formed for inducing the modification of the profound development models.

be divided into in scope and out of scope. The improvement of payment process would help in
forming the effective and improved development factor (Nicholas and Steyn 2017). The
alignment would help in considering the development of the successive and influential
development operation. The project plan, system development, and formation of the activities are
a part of the project and can be termed as in scope items of the project. The out of scope items of
the project are travelling cost, scope management plan, and communication plan are not included
in the project activities.
6.5 Recommendations
