Social factors, trends and behaviours can affect the performance of Amazon
negatively and positively. It has been analysed that amazon has impacted
people’s daily lives as more and more people are been involved in
purchasing products online which has made them lazy and also because of
this cases related to obesity has increased (Anggadwita and et.al., 2017).
Staying home and ordering junkies online has severely affected lives of
adolescents and children. It is changing life styles of people, now all
youngsters and even elderly aged people prefer to buy online instead of
going out. Online shopping from Amazon has also affected the small local
retailers who owes shop as no one prefers to go over there and certainly in
situation of pandemic, consumers are ignoring to go outside. This is also
increasing health issues among consumers as they only sit and perform
tasks.
On the other hand, Amazon is providing products at door, this is helping
consumers in saving their time and by this they can become more
productive. Now a day’s customers also have change in their attitude, they
think that buying online looks more elite. They have a positive attitude
towards online shopping (Ansari, 2018). Amazon also provides wide variety
of products to customers and also according to their taste and preferences,
so they are buying more of it. Online shopping has becoming hobby and
Amazon can grab this opportunity to grow around the globe. It has
enhanced experiences of consumers.
