REFLECTION
The following reflective paper is about own experience which I came across while
making the completion of project which was on doing SWOT Analysis on Amazon. According
to Samantha Geffert, reflection is helpful in enhancing and developing writing skills and and also
informs about the perceptions of an individual regarding any topic. Our teacher made group of
five team members who will jointly make the completion of this project successful. We all
decided to divide the tasks of the whole project in different parts so that it could become easier to
complete it. I decided to do the work of finding out the data which will be relevant to provided
topic. Other members of my team also decided their own work which they have to accomplish as
to make their contribution in the success of project. One of them decided to write the content of
the project, next one decided to present the complete project in front of the teacher and the class,
another one decided to check the content of the project that written content in the project is right
or wrong and the last one decided to make rectifications in the work if any mistakes are found in
the project checked by team member. According to Claudia McGivney, it is important for
students to be informed in order to analyse information and to develop new thinking. At the very
starting when I and my team were provided with this project, three of the members were feeling
good and energetic and rest two including me, were like a little bit confused and that is why they
made free to choose the work which we both can do in an good manner. After the completion of
this project we all felt the same as we were happy and feeling relaxed because the project was
successfully done without any mistakes and errors in it from our hand, rest all was in the hands
of the teacher. When I looked back to the situation, I passed with several good and bad
experiences which I and my team came across while completing the project. My team members
were also feeling feared at some as in the initial stage the progress of the project was not so good
which caused because I was lacking behind in completing the work provided to me. During the
whole project the best part and positive experience which I came across was about the sharing of
workload by all the members of team. The members were so helping to each other and also
worked in a coordinated way. As I was unable to perform well in starting so my team members
made adjusted their part of work and helped me a lot so that I may learn how to work. In some
doubtful situation, the members were consulting to other members of the team so as to get the
best result. The worst part was about low progress of work which consumed most of out time and

made our work more complex to do. We needed to spent more time in completing the work as
we have to complete all the tasks of the project in time so that the complete project can be made
successful. I contributed in the completion of this project by providing the content to the writer
so that further delay in the project can be avoided. Other team members also made their
contribution by doing their own work and also looking on the work of tow team members who
were less familiar with the work.
From the situation which I faced during the completion of this project, I learnt that while
working in a team, dedication to work is an important aspect which affects the overall working
of team. Further I also learnt that to keep motivated the members of team it is essential to
properly guide them, behave with them patiently and also provide them friendly environment.
These qualities I encountered while working with this team and also created a positive impact on
me. In future I will be provided with any kind of project I will definitely apply these qualities in
my next experience so that they may help me in getting positive results from my work. The worst
experience was about feeling of incapability to do the work. In the initial stage I was unknown
with ways by which I can fetch data from other sources in order to complete the work provided
to me on time. Lack of proper knowledge about the way of working was my worst experience in
the whole journey in this project which made the speed of our work slow and lowered down my
morale level. This bad experience was overcome by taking help of my team members as they
told me about how to work. They were telling me very calmly and patiently so that they can
remove bad feelings from me. To deal with this bad experience I had prepared plans for future
which will help me in overcoming with these situations such as by consulting to family and
teachers and taking regular guidance from them about my work. According to Lynelle Watts,
reflection helps students in assessing their weak points and tells them about their own skills and
abilities. Not only in making projects but also in my real life I will apply and improve this skill
so that I can cover these mistakes in future and also do good work.
