PERSONAL STATEMENT
Being a proactive and hardworking individual, I believe that life is like riding a bicycle. This is
the reason that I believe in always keep moving in order to keep balance in life. Being a
student, I intended to keep the pace in personal and professional life. I realized that
studying in this university would be the best start to my future career.
In the future, I want to become an entrepreneur as the CEO of my own business. To do so, I
have graduated in May 2019 from 2 years of HND in Business and Administration. In this
way, the long-term goal of my life requires me to study top-up degree business and
Management as it will boost to my career. Besides, a post-graduation degree will offer the
opportunity to improve my knowledge and skill-set. As I just mentioned I always wanted to
become a CEO, which was my dream and hence have attempted different career options in
the direction. Later on, I finally realized that acquiring a business degree is essential to
become the CEO of my own business.
Moreover, I have completed IT Course as I got interested in recent technology. For that
reason, I studied as well as learned a lot about online marketing. In addition to that, I have
practiced online marketing with the help of working with many companies. Hence, now I am
having a good knowledge of internet marketing and SEO (Search engine optimization). On
the other hand, I have contributed to community work as well as worked with young people
those need help. Apart from this, I have mentored many young teenagers.
I would like to mention my first work experience, which was with Juba Youth 2008. I started
my career as a youth worker and thereby became a project manager for various important
youth projects. Additionally, I used time positively and wisely for exploring better options
for my future career. I have attended workshops and training programs in order to gain
diverse skills and knowledge which helped me to run a youth project. I am blessed that my
mentor recognized my capability to resolve conflicts as well as my intentions to help others
because of which I directed my career towards management course.

Apart from this, I worked as the coordinator for Jubba Youth; where I worked as the project
manager for about 2 years. I have been working as one of the trustees of the charity and
hence I voluntarily overlooked 2 projects. Simultaneously, I began a small IT consultant
business which helped me to realize that I required a business degree before starting any
business. Therefore, I decided to do HND in business as well as pursue a career in business
management by completing a degree in Business and Management.
From the perspective of personal development, I chose this career option which will help
me to move towards core academics. In this way, I decided to acquire all the necessary
qualities and skills that can allow me to become a successful CEO. I have also participated in
many school-time events like debating society, covering an array of topics, including Tuition
Fees, College life and reminding students of their potential. In whole, I am an ambitious
person having excellent communication skills. I am a good speaker having the ability to
argue a case with influence and effectiveness.
