Introduction
This paper will give focus to the case related to a murder. It is evaluated that in this case,
Roy Abanales Tabalbag was very angry with his girlfriend. It is seen that he is angry because
his girlfriend is engaged in the sexual act and also, she is not loyal towards him. There are
various ethical theories that will be explained that will give emphasis to the overall case.
By evaluating the case it can be evaluated that the accused was not guilty of the murder
but the gilt is because of the manslaughter. Roy took an unethical step because it is seen that
his girlfriend is not loyal towards him. This paper explains various theories related to the
case. The theories that will be discussed in this paper are utilitarianism theory, deontology
theory, virtue theory and contract theory.
Utilitarianism theory
This theory is related to the feelings that are considered when the actions of a person take
place. It is seen that feeling is dependent on the activities which are conducted by the people.
If the action reflects proper utility then it can be evaluated that best concept can be
considered. Ego is the essential factor that comes with the concept of consequentialism.
Equality is also the next factor on which the theory give focus. This concept focuses on
equality so that consequentialism can be taken into consideration for proper care.
Also, the emphasis is given to utilities so that the act which is conducted can be done with
efficiency (Lucas, Van Wee & Maat, 2016).
It is seen that utility give impact on the actions in a proper way. In this case, it can be
evaluated that the boyfriend is very upset just because of an unethical step was taken by his
girlfriend. The girlfriend wad engaged in the sexual activity which his lover and by seeing
this situation the boyfriend become very angry and disappointed. Behavior showcase the
anger of an individual. It is important for the person to have proper control on the anger so
that situations can be managed in a proper manner (Carmeli, Brammer, Gomes & Tarba,
2017). When a person is disappointed when it is seen that he or she should take no decisions
so that unethical steps cannot take place (Lachman, 2016).
It can also be evaluated that anger showcase the behavior of an individual. It is important
for a person to manage the situation at the time of anger so that ethical actions can take place.

Kupsala, 2017). If a couple follows proper ethics then it can be easy to maintain the
relationship for a long time.
When a person is involved in the act which is unethical then they have to face the issues
related to it. The issues will arise in context to penalties and punishments which will be
given. The act which is done by Roy in not ethical in the eyes of law. It can be seen that if a
person is killing someone to secure themselves then it is not an unethical act. Amin Sthapit
was a person who was murdered by Roy because he was the lover of his girlfriend. When
work programs are done it is seen that this concept gives emphasis on managing the overall
actions of the society and also prosperity can be managed in the society (Campbell, 2016).
Deontology Theory
In this theory, the focus is given on the morale of an individual and it is important to
emphasize on the overall policies and methods so that activities can be done in a right
manner. To take an accurate decision it is seen that ethics should be considered so that
obligations can also be considered (Everett, Pizarro & Crockett, 2016). There are many
obligations and theories which give emphasis on the morality and also concerned with the
internal and external factor. To consider the rules and regulations is one of the important
concepts that should be maintained in an effective manner (Hartman, DesJardins &
MacDonald, 2014).
By considering the case it is evaluated that Tabalbag involved in the action which is
unethical in the society and also the respect is not given by the society to a person who is
doing such type of activities. In this, there are many rules and concepts that are important to
be followed and if it is not followed then the negative impact can be seen in the relations. The
wrong action which took place is not supported by this concept. In this, the punishment is
given to the people who are engaged in taking right actions and also it is seen that it impacts
on the overall activities (Holyoak & Powell, 2016).
Virtue theory
Virtue theory is the concept which has proper coverage of a person and in this, the
comparison is made between the people. The power is also concerned with the overall

person plays a great role and is concerned with the theory. The activities which take place are

manner with the other people. Every individual takes into consideration different ethics and
also to attain positive results it is important to behave ethically. The girlfriend took the wrong
step which was not ethical and also the accused was not able to control the anger.
Contract theory
In a society, if there are happy people then only the surroundings will be happy. It is seen
that to live in the society there are certain norms and rules which should be considered so that
in right the activities can be completed. Positive results are only achieved when ethics are
considered in a proper manner. Relations can only be managed when ethical concepts are
connected with it. Punishment is also connected with the unethical act which took place and
its impacts on the overall activities conducted in the society. Contract theory has a framework
in which there are various rules that should be implemented so that it can be possible to live a
happy life.
It can be evaluated that Tabalbags should have proper ethics and consider the rules so that
overall liability can be lessened. The good environment helps to act in an ethical manner and
also give the direction which is good for people. The motive is to secure the people and also
to maintain peace and harmony. The accused was majorly the results of the unethical act
which has given impact on the society. Tabalbag conducted the wrong act and it is important
it has a patience so that wrong acts cannot give negative impact on the life of the other
person.
Conclusion
There are various concepts related to ethics which are discussed in this paper. It is
important to focus on the policies so that acts can be done in a right way. Motivation factor is
also one of the aspects which gives impact on the individual behavior. If an individual is
indulged in the act which is not right according to the law then it will be difficult to survive
for a long time in the company. Also, the concepts have a connection with the murder case in
