Introduction
Early childhood education and learning is considered to be very important as it helps in improving the
later school performance of the child which leads to greater heights. It helps in creating a stronger
base for improving the learning abilities results in wide set of learning. It also helps in improving
social development and cognitive skills among child. This study will gather and document information
about children. It will also monitor children’s learning and development and use evidence to inform
practice.

To complete this Project, learners will need to watch a short video and create an observation record
on the child featured.
Learners will then need to analyse their observations and create a learning outcome for the child
based on their findings.
Learners will need to develop three (3) experiences to support the child to achieve the learning
outcome. For each experience include considerations for intentional teaching, modelling and the
learning environment.
Learners should also show how the learning outcomes and planned experiences reflect the approach
to children’s education and care outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF).
Learners may use the format provided or create their own formats for the running record and
planning experiences.
It may be useful for learners to be prepared with an open document or pen and paper to record their
observations.
Steps for completing this assessment:
a) Watch the following short video that shows a toddler drawing with coloured pencils and taking
an interest in some paint pots. This video is approximately 3.5 minutes long.

and her interactions with an educator. It also shows learning

The information that has been gathered by watching the documentation and running record is shows
a toddler is making use of pencils that are colored to draw and her interactions with an educator. It
also provided with the various learning opportunities for young toddlers. The conversation between
educator toddlers has also helped them in developing the toddler physically. It has supported the
educator in overall development of toddler. They have provided with the information that the role of
educator is really important in overall development of child. This video also provides the relationship

The one learning outcome for the child who has been featured in video is to learn how to paint or
sketch. In this video the relationship shared by toddler and educator has also been specified. It has
been analyzed from the video that toddler is really happy while learning how to draw and paint.
This has helped educator in improvising the cognitive and behavioralability of child ( Moore,
2017). It has also supported the educator in developing the child physically as well as
psychologically. They are also working towards improvising the language and behavioral pattern of

1. Colouring in books in turn is considered to be as one of the effective approach which helps
in improving the sketching and painting skills of the students (Moore, 2017). Painting and
sketching is very useful in developing the various set of mobility skills among children.
2. Getting engaged in the artistic activities in turn is considered to be as one of the most
effective planned experience in order to achieve the set learning skills. Getting engaged
with the artistic activities helps in developing physical as well as mental skills.
3. Finger painting is considered to be as one of the most effective planned experience in
order to achieve the set learning skills (Guthridge and et.al., 2016). This helps in
improving the sensory integration among the child and also helps in improving the fine
development of the motor skills.

Intentional teaching is considered to be as one of the effective process which can be used as an
appropriate way to relate with the child (Votruba-Drzal and et.al ., 2015). Teachers tend to be very
purposeful which helps teachers in taking strategic decision and also take necessary action to
improve the child care education. Teachers also tends to be highly useful in effectively balancing
the strategies in order to promote and cater the children’s learning.
Modelling in turn is considered to be an effective measure which is very useful in effectively
structuralizing the strategy which is very useful in allowing students to effectively observe the

thought procedure of the teachers (Mortensen. and Barnett, 2015). Usage of modelling in the planned
experience for Early childhood education and learning helps teachers to engage the students in

Creation of the learning environment is very useful in creating high degree of learning to the
children which eventually leads to high degree of knowledge to the individual person. Creation of
the nurturing and learning environment is very useful for supporting the growth, education and
development of the toddlers, infants and pre- schoolers. Such learning environment in turn is

In the planning it was decided that different gathering of information about the children will
be gather with the help of observation. Analysis of different data will be done with the help
of evaluating the observation. Evidence of same will be evaluated on the basis of using
outcome to show the child achievement through observation. After that in the planning
approach in the organization in which different value will be added to different observation
which has been gather in the market. After that in Documenting phase we will add the
follow-up experience to the program and evaluating it . In next phase evaluation will be
done in the organization. In this phase child was evaluated on the basis that completing the
follow up experience by achieving different outcome in the organization.

CONCLUSION
After going through the above report it has been concluded that toddler was taking help of
pencil in the organization that are colored to draw and her interactions with an educator. After
that report conclude that child used to learn in the video that how to paint in the organization.
After that report highlights three planned activity to achieve the learning outcome. In the end
the report highlights the three planned experience to support child achieve the learning
outcome in the organization.
