INTRODUCTION
A good health is a basic need of the each and every person to survive in own life so it is
essential for them to make a proper care of body (Liu and Sun, 2011). Health care organisations
are having expertise to provide a care and treatment mental and physical disorders. The present
report is based on the health care organisation and different cases held in them. The report is
having content on Peter which is having CEREBRAL PASLY, Anis who has a Brain
Haemorrhage had three surgeries and JC an old man in his past who has a stroke which
impacting on the mobility of him. The given report having it's focus on concept of health and
disability, illness and behaviour for users. It has a personal needs of the patients and impact of
the past and present legislation, social and culture on the manner services providing to the
patients. At the last report is having focus on different concept of challenging behaviour and it's
potential impact on the health and social care.
TASK 1
1.1 Analysis of concepts of health, disability, illness and behaviour in relation to users
According to the World Health Organisation, health determines a standard of functional
and metabolic efficiency of a human being to manage and adopt physical, mental and social
changes (Buckler, 2011). As the Peter is having Cerebral Palsy which is a type of mental illness
which is impacting on the hearing skills of them.
As per the views of World Health Organisation, disability is a type of limitation on the
physical and mental level which prevent to the human body to make accurate a activity. As per
the case study, Peter has a critical Cerebral Palsy which creates a disorder to make an effective
movement in body parts which is creating a impact on the Peter's daily life.
As stated by the World Health Organisation, illness is a limited time period for mental
and physical sickness which creates a impact on the human body. As Peter is having serious type
of disorder in his body which is related to the mental prevention on the body movements (World
Health Organization, 2012).
As defined by the World Health Organisation, behaviour of a person is a set of actions
which he makes to express their feelings to others. As the Peter is having mental illness Bi-polar
Affective Disorder which is making a prevention to make a perfect body movements.

1.2 Assessment and discussion on perceptions about specific needs have changed
In the context of the Peter case study, they are having Bi-Polar Affective disorder which
is creating an impact on the persons which are related to the patient (Niebert, Marsch and
Treagust, 2012). According to the given scenario, the Peter is having needs of the care and
monitoring for their betterment. Peter is a mature person and he has crossed the age of 40 so he
having different types of responsibilities on him, so needs are changed by the situations of the
persons so it is essential for the relatives and care person to provide them essential things and
services by which them can feel relax in the care home and hospital (de Haan and et. al., 2014).
Cerebral Palsy has a impact on the hearing and use of legs, so Peter is having care during walk
and swimming, the Cerebral Palsy made a serious impact on the patient to make a control on the
arms and legs.
1.3 Impact of past and present legislations, social policies, society and culture on manner of
services
Equality act is an effective policy which works on the services, according to the law
health and social care organisations have to provide all basic facilities and services to the patients
without making any type of discrimination on the basis of the colour, race and nationality
(Michel and et. al., 2013). As in the given scenario, the Peter is having a critical mental disorder
so it is essential for the health and care organisation to provide a proper health care as per the
requirement of the treatment, it has to be similar with out any type of discrimination in it.
Bi-Polar Affective disorder has made typical situations for the Peter to survive in his life,
they has loose control on their lower limbs which creates a hinder for them to survive in the life
(Robins, 2011). So as per the society and culture morality, it can impact on the services which
are provided by the health care organisation to the peter and his family.

2.1 Analysis of different care needs of individuals
According to the case study, Anis is having a serious type of disease so it is essential for
the care person to provide them better services as per the needs of them (Callister and Rethwisch,
2011). Some of the care needs are which is based on the Anis, Nilam and Nafis:

Anis has crossed the age of 60
years which creates an
implication of extra care, as he
is suffering from the Brain
Haemorrhage and having
paralysis in right side which
creates a huge impact on the
speech so he is having a need
of those person which can
easily get what they want to
say. Their vocal code has get
huge damage which reduce the
ability of pronunciation of the
words so it is essential for
them to use a support system
to enlarge their voice.
Nilam is the wife of Anis she
has committed in to the take
care of the Anis has isolated
from the personal and social
life so now they are having
need of the rest and relax.
Mental tension has a created
hypothyroid in them, which
can be cause of the depression,
tiredness and weigh gain so it
is essential for them to take a
medical treatment to cure the
disease.
Nafis is daughter of Anis and
Nilam, she is a student but
their condition of their parents
creates an impact on their
mental level and his studies
also. So she having need of
person which can help and
support them in their work and
emotionally also.
2.2 Explanation of current systems for supporting individuals
Some of the systems are here which can provide a support to the patient, here these are:

support in the educations and
other basic facilities.

Anis and his family to
overcome on the situations. It
has a potential for the person
to provide better facilities by
the insurance companies which
can help them in the indeed.

So it is essential for the patients and as well as top the family to take better services form the
health care organisations and government to improve the conditions of the family.
2.3 Evaluation of services available in a chosen locality for individuals
As the Anis is taking a proper medication from the health and social care organisation so
it is essential for the health care organisation to make a proper analysis of the health of the
patients and mental abilities of them. So they have to make proper check ups of them which can
help to them to find out the basic cause for the illness (Burns and Grove, 2010). After it they
have to provide proper treatment and medical facilities to them which can help to them to make
an improvement in the disease. According to the case study, Anis are having a Paralysis in their
right side which is impacting on the vocal code so it is essential for the health care organisation
to sort out their problems by proper and regular check ups. So they have to make a proper team
of the doctors which are having an expertise in the nervous system and as well as which can help
to the Anis and family to ensure the betterment in their health, which can give mental relax to the
family also (DePoy and Gitlin, 2015).

3.1 Explanation of different types of approaches and interventions available to support
individuals with specific needs
Different types of approaches are available for the patients and the disabled person which
are having need of the special care. These types of approaches and interventions are basically
works on the children, parents and older peoples. As per the case study of the Bourne-wood, HL
is not able to perform their daily routine activities so he is having a need of the supporters in
those particular activities in which Mr. and Mrs E helps them to perform activities. So these
types of people are having needs of the supports so it is essential for the health and social care
organisations to recruit those types of people in the organisation which can provide proper and
appropriate support and care to these type of vulnerable people.
Older people are disabled to perform business activities and as well as their daily day to
day activities so it creates a need for them to support in their routine activities which can help to

them to do their work. Objective of this support to the identify the support to the older people
(De Mooij, 2013). It can help to identify which kind of needs they have and which are ranked on
the higher priorities so it is essential for the health and care organisations to identify the points
on which they can support to the older people. Older people which are living in the care homes
are under taken by the care person which can analyse the points on which an old person suffering
to do. So it is essential for the care homes to analyse the needs of the old person and as well as
they have to find out proper solutions to them which can help to make better services for them.
3.2 Evaluation of the effectiveness of intervention strategies used for service users
It is essential for the older people to manage their interest in the daily routine activities
which can increase the working efficiency as well as it can help to them to improve the health.
Different types of learnings which can be provided by the care person which can help to improve
the mental and physical health of the person (Mattocks and et. al., 2014). It can increase the
internal working capabilities and as well as it can reduce their dependency on the others. It is
essential for the care persons to provide them a proper familiar environment which can help them
to live in the care home with a homely feel. So they have to set an environment and divide the
liabilities in between the members living in the old age home which can help to make a better
environment in the care homes.
As per the Mr. and Mrs. E has suited a case in the British Court for the betterment of the
HL, as the Bourne wood hospital has admitted to the HL under the act Mental health Act 1983.
Health and care organisations has to provide a proper medical treatment to these vulnerable
people which can help to them to be healthy and to recover from their mental illness, according
to the case. So they have to provide these types facilities and products which can improve their
personal ability to perform their own work.
3.3 Potential impact of emerging developments on support for individuals with specific needs
It is essential for the organisations which are working the health and social care to
provide better environment to the patients and as well as to provide better medical facilities to
them. These development can be made by the public and private organisations with their mutual
understandings so it is essential for them to make a proper analysis of the needs of the old
persons which are living in the old age and care homes (Wilder, Collier and Barnes, 2014). It can
make an impact on the person which are having any kind disabilities and which are living in the
care homes. It can increase their liveliness and as well as it can make a positive impact on their

physical and mental level of them. These development can help to them to improve their working
efficiency of them. As per the case study, behaviours and care of the Mr. and Mrs. E has a make
positive impact on the HL so it is essential for the health and care organisation mainly Bourne-
wood hospital to make better development as per the needs of the case like; HL.

The above presented report has been concluded about the persona l needs of the person which are
suffering from different types of serious disease which creating a cause to survive in their own
life. Health and care organisations are having an important role in the betterment of the person
which are having any abilities. As the above mentioned cases are having different types of
diseases so it is essential for the health and social care organisation to make proper check ups of
them to provide better treatment to them. So they have to make proper analysis of the patients
and their situations which can be related to the patient and with their families.
