The chocolate market of Australia is going to get expanded by approximately 7% by the
year of 2023 because of the high demands of the confectionary products in the Australian market
and high rate of consumption in there. As numbers of foreign companies are venturing in
Australian market looking at the high demands for confectionary products, naturally it can be
said that the market size for chocolates is big enough in Australia (Gallo, Antolin-Lopez and
Montiel 2018). In the market of Australia, the demands of chocolate is on the higher side and the

LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
According to Beckett, Fowler and Ziegler (2017), currently there are more than 70
business organizations that are operating in the chocolate industry of Australia and it has been
seen that due to an increased number of companies in the same market of operation, the rivalry in
the business has become fierce and that is why incessant development and adoption of new ideas
by the companies can be an effective tool to sustain the competitive advantage. As stated by
Davies and Kitchen (2015), Adagio Finest chocolates, Angelica Enterprises Pty Ltd, Bruno’s
Truffle Swiss Pty Ltd, and Chocolate Graphics Pty Ltd are most famous chocolate companies
operating in the market of Australia.
There are a few Australian companies who export their chocolate products abroad and
among them the majority of the companies are exporting organic and gluten free chocolates
which can be consumed safely. Some of the major companies who export chocolates outside
Australia are Belgian Delight, Nestle Australia and Mars Australia (Watson et al. 2016).
