Issues of the Education System
Education is one of the crucial part of our life. A bigger part of our life is spent in the
education system, learning new aspects and passing on the knowledge that has been gathered.
But with every passing time, the education system is losing its ‘soul’. We are more inclined
towards the benefits of the post education phase and barely pay attention to the values that can be
inherited from that (Domina et al., 2019).
The schools barely pay attention to the needs of the individual student. They are
overcrowded nowadays. Thus the needs of the individual students remains unattended. With the
evolution of numerous schools and private tuitions, involvement of the parents have decreased.
Value Education is barely a part of the educational courses. Thus the students are just learning
whatever the books are teaching them. One of the most unfortunate system in the education is the
separation of the ‘gifted students’. This is a notorious concept where comparatively better
students are chosen as the crowning jewel of the school such that the reputation can be enhanced
(Mohamed, Halai and Karuku, 2016). Schools lays more emphasis on developing the already
developed student and leaving out the ones who really needs attention.
The schools are advancing and so are the techniques, hence up-gradation of tutors are
required as well. The education system takes lesser initiatives for educating the tutors. According
to the video, classical education is one of the best kind of education as it helps in development of
individual student. This also helps in incorporating moral values in the students. With the further
enhancement of the classical education, the contemporary education system can be improved.
