From the research it can be analysed that the people are living in the felling of fear as they
are suffering from the problem of mental health are having the risk of targeted violence. The
people who are not fit mentally need more care and service. Along with that it is noticed that the
neglect by the staff is also causing various problems to these people. But the bitter trust is that
these people are not given support instead they are at risk of violence. It is observed that the
people that are not mentally fit face problems at all the steps of life. They are not given equal

control by friends or family, along with that they are also prone to the risk from neighbours.
People laugh at them and are treated in an unfair way. As per the practitioners the challenges in
taking personal responsibility for reacting to targeted reports. Violence and corruption in
distorted processes and frameworks with uncertain reporting and management lines. They also
blamed cultures and were afraid to take the responsibility. The study is conducted on the females
and they are being asked about the treatment. As these people that are not mentally well have to
depend on others for each and every work, so they take advantage and that is problematic

accountable and responsible; to take responsibility for the problem; and to assist them in seeking
justice.
2.Describe the author's approach used to carry out the research
In the article the approach that is used by the author is qualitative. To conduct study of this

controlled interview in which self-selected mental health users gave their experience. Another
method used was stakeholder focus group that discussed the g preliminary service user interview
findings.

proper precautions and for these people some safety norms should be formulated that will
support them. There is need of change as all this is causing various issues those people also have
right to life the life but they are unable to do so and are facing violence. It is noticed that these
people lack the trust and are now not able to trust others. As they have faced various problems
that are in relation to violence. Along with that culture is also blamed for the study as there is
lack of responsibility and fear of reprisal. All of this is regarded as difficulty and needs clarity. It
is been observed that this is all called and covered under hate crime. Along with that it is noticed
that there should be a greater focus on user-led prevention and security, as well as safety
preparation and implementation. When it comes to care planning, it is important to keep in mind
the results that have been decided upon with the service customer. A proper understanding
should be there is relation to this term so as it can be stopped. These people start blaming other
for their condition as they are not treated equally (Beresford, 2019). They lack support and that
cause them down. All this causes problem and makes the people arrogant. It is also seen that the
staff is afraid of talking to them and knowing their condition as they not feel safe. It is vital that

by these individuals to that they are unable to trust anyone. There are various issues and
challenges that these people are facing and causing them in problems. If all these staff members
will take proper care of these patients than it will solve the problems and reduce the violence
against them.

aim was to see how different forms of violence, different types of participants, different
intervention settings, and different cognitive levels affect intervention outcomes current
situation. The adult generation needs proper social support to maintain their physical health as
well. In the study it is seen that the maltreatment of the elder generation the problems faced are
as physical, psychological, neglect, sexual abuse, and financial exploitation. As it is vital to first

violence shows and created depression in the people they are not treated fairly. Even the
treatments that are getting do not have social support. The generation needs proper support but it

programmes that are established are also not working in a way that will help in the treatment of
the people.
2.Describe the author's approach used to carry out the research
The author has used both qualitative as well as quantities data. As in relation to qualitative
data the previous done studies are referred and used. The published articles and related
information in this field is gained to know more about the topic and analyse it. Another point is
statistical tools are used to gain the insights out of the data and gain clear understanding. Various
tests are used on the sample to know and understand about the level of problem that the
generation is facing and to form some solutions for them. Secondary research is conducted as
review of two independent authors is taken for this study. There are seven eligible studies for
collecting information that have data related to 1924 elderly participants and 740 other people. It
is survey of data.
3.Identify the key implications of this research
It can be analysed that despite of this study clarity cannot be gained. As it is observes that
various programmes are formulated but are not giving the perfect results. All this causes problem
for the generation it is identified that only 10% of the people are provided with proper social and
physical care (Surr, Gates, Irving, Oyebode, Smith, Parveen, Drury and Dennison, 2017).
Various strategies are formulated and research takes place to safeguard the people that are not
able to get care. It is seen that there is some evidence that it may affect the combined measure of
anxiety and depression, there is insufficient reliable evidence to determine the effects of elder
abuse treatments on the frequency or recurrence of abuse.
