Presentation skills are very important for an individual. These are associated with the
qualities required for creating and delivering an effective and clear presentation. There are
several employers, students and other professionals who have to use presentation in order to
make other people understand several topics in discussions. The prospective employer wants
to deliver reports and briefings for colleagues. This includes conducting training sessions and
presenting information in front of clients. This is also associated with managing all the tasks
properly and involving a speaking concept before the audience will stop it provides an
engaging as well as easy for understanding talk. These include major component for the oral
communication and are the basic requirement for job (Bradbury, 2006).
Evaluation
It is evaluated that there are three phases of presentation which includes preparation, delivery
and follow up. These all have to be properly managed in order to conduct the management of
all processes effectively. The preparation consists of managing research and building the
PowerPoint effectively. It consists of crafting the text and developing slides in order to
support of audio and visual materials. There is requirement of ensuring that venue is properly
available and set beforehand. There is also requirement of practising the presentation as many
times which is needed for feeling comforttable.It is very important for all individuals to focus
upon presentation skills. It is associated with managing the comfort of delivering the
presentation in front of audience in a easy manner. There is time allotted for developing and
managing the presentation so that all audience will know the analysis off theories. There are
different skills which are associated with preparation of presentation. Some of these include
conducting the research which is associated with presentation topic. This includes different
number of charts and graphs after this, there is enhancement of knowledge about tailoring of
presentation needs and requirements. There is creation of digital slides on which presentation
is broken down into various reasonable length. Statistiques are used effectively in order to
persuade the audience (Cottrell, 2019). Presentation skills are associated with incorporation
of concrete examples and stories for illustrating points and maintaining the attention of

audience. There is preparation of handouts as well as digital references so that preoccupied

appropriate audience. Delivery is known as the part of audience which is seen buy them could

confadent presentation is provided. There are different skills which are required at the time of
delivery of presentation. Some of these are mentioned below:

Using eye contact and body language for conveying confidence and energy.

The follow up step consist of breaking down and storing the equipment properly. This means
contacting different type of audience and members with whom all the communication factors
are agreed upon. These consist of soliciting, collecting as well as analysing the feedback.
There are different type of presentations reqd for collecting information from audience
members. There are different skills required for the follow up process. Some of these are
mentioned below:
Creation and evaluation of solicit feedback from the attendees
Interpretation of feedback from evaluation as well as modification of content and
delivery of future predictions
Organising of database in order to manage the attendance for future presentations
Conducting interviews of key attendees and gaining additional feedback

Organisation: there is need of having different individuals with whom time can be
spent in order to manage the work. Laptops and projectors are connected while
presentation is provided to the audience. There is requirement of developing and
keeping track of notes, Start Stop time and information in order to complete the tasks

There is also requirement of proofreading and fine tuning different materials which are used
for planning the presentation. Different aspects associated with the presentation includes
auditing, event planning, prioritisation, benchmarking, scheduling and record keeping.
Non verbal communication: the way in which an individual present himself or herself
while speaking to the audience is very important while giving the presentation. There
is need to be more confident and engaged towards the audience while providing the
presentation. This can include a good posture, making eye contacts and having good
hand gestures. Non verbal communication can be practised by observing and
presenting the body language carefully (McMillan & Weyers, 2012).
Presentation software: this is known as dominant software which is used for creating
visual aids regarding the presentation. It is very important to learn different users
which are associated with special features outside the templates regarding
presentation for life.
Public speaking: presentation requires to be appear in our comforttable and engaging
manner when speaking in front of life audience. It requires lots of practise and
sometimes public speaking includes the management of different individuals.
Research: it consists of first step that comes among the preparation of multi year
process. This includes managing the research question framework and identifying
appropriate information sources which are used for organising the results (Godfrey,
2018).

Verbal communication: the concept of public speaking consists of verbal
communication and it includes different forms used for providing a good presentation.
There is need for understanding and evaluating questions which are asked by different
audiences in the presentation. This is only possible if the person is active listener and
has empathy over the functioning.
Writing: this is another important concept of presentation skills. When a person is
able to provide oh proper writing description about any script or topic, it is easy to
manage the development of a good presentation. This includes recognising and
countering objections. It is also involved in supporting the statement with audiences
and anticipating the concern of other towards the topic discussed in front of audiences
(Haber, 2020).
