UiTM CTU101: Analysis of Akhlak in Islam Based on Surah At-Takatsur

This report, prepared for Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Sabah, analyzes the concept of Akhlak (Islamic ethics) based on Surah At-Takatsur (Chapter 102) of the Quran. It begins with an introduction to Akhlak, defining it as good character and behavior derived from the Quran and Sunnah. The report then provides a detailed exegesis of Surah At-Takatsur, explaining its meaning and context, which revolves around the dangers of being preoccupied with worldly possessions and competition. The report highlights the importance of Akhlak for individuals, society, and the nation, emphasizing its role in fostering a civilized society, preventing moral decay, and ensuring a harmonious environment. It also discusses the negative consequences of poor Akhlak, including spiritual decline, societal breakdown, and economic stagnation. Finally, the report proposes several recommendations and steps to promote and strengthen Akhlak, such as parental guidance, government campaigns, the role of teachers, and community involvement. The report aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Akhlak and its significance in shaping individuals and society, based on Islamic teachings and principles.
