Teaching profession is a social care that helps in the upliftment of the society and developing
more professional in the community as well. The teacher provides education and teaching
services to people in the environment. They help other to attain knowledge about different
subject matter and make them proficient as well. The responsibility of a teaching professional is
to have expert knowledge in their core subject and keep their information up-to-date as well.
Their responsibility is to design a curriculum and provide true information to students in
classroom environment. Their responsibility is to maintain a safe learning environment that
should be conducive to learning (Baldwin 2016). They need to supervise the behaviour of
students and communicate with them as well. The responsibility is to stand in favour of policies
of the organization/ university and provide feedback to students for their improvement. Their

to grow and they started to become more intriguing towards several concepts in the world.

need of people. Society also started pushing the teachers above in marketplace because they
wanted their children to learn and live a better life. Due to which, illiteracy rate started to reduce
because people were developing the willing to learn and themselves become a professional
(Moriarty, Baginsky, and Manthorpe 2015). Teachers are the one of the biggest profession due to
which other professions exist in society because they are the one who trains people to work on
their knowledge and multiply it as well. The professional group of teachers started get better
promotions and incentives because the government wanted to reduce the illiteracy rate and make
people competent to choose the right profession for them and take right decisions as well (Payne,
and Askeland 2016). The professional teaching developed with the development of historical
culture in the world. As the ancient history was presented to people, they wanted to read and
understand it due to which, professions started to educate the people about different cultures and
histories of people from the past (Doel, and Shardlow 2017).
Thousands of years before the actual time, students used to educate themselves through self-
directed play and exploration. This was further driven towards the priests and secular people who
started educating the curious people and started solving their problems. Resulting in which, in
this way education industry and profession of teaching was developed. Considering the current
environment, teaching profession is developing because of use of technology by people among
the society. With every update in technology, people started using it more gain benefits in
different industries including education, resulting in which teachers started giving their services
by using online medium (Turner 2017).
Further, considering the relevant policies and legislations for the social contribution of teaching
professional in the society, it should be noted that the main educational legislations of UK states
that every student holds the right to learn and develop their skills in the school environment. It is
the responsibility of local authorities so as to provide efficient skills to the student so that they
could grow and become professional. The Care Standard Act 2000 refers to the regulatory
system of care giving services to children. The regulations related to child minding and day care
provisions explain the process of transferring the responsibilities to concerned department
(EACEA 2019). The Children Act 1989 of parliament states that the court needs to protect the
welfare of the children by providing them basic living and learning needs. Education is also a

government and social workers like teaching professional (Congress 2017).
There are several regulations formed to assist the mentally disabled children so as to provide

through their social services. The teaching professionals are social workers who work with future
generation of the world. Thus, it should be noted that based on above mentioned rules and
regulations presented in the education industry, the teaching professional do abide the

work of teaching profession. The teaching profession has uplifted the state of nations because it
has provided qualitative knowledge to people so that they can become professional in their
respective fields. Social work of teaching has increased literacy rate which has modified mind-
set of people to take efficient decisions in the environment. It can be said that the worldwide
economy is growing because of the contribution of social worker (teaching professional). They
help the student to attain their rights and diversify the knowledge by learning (Evans 2016).
Changes in society has led towards a positive approach of making societies equal and providing
basic rights to all of them. The education industry has helped in nurturing people with knowledge
and education about good and bad. Resulting in which, people started taking decision that
increase unity and brotherhood in the environment. The teaching professional also helped many
underprivileged students in educating them and connecting them with the world. Thus, it should
be noted that growth of teaching professional groups has substantially helped the people to
develop their capabilities and grow in the competitive market (QEC 2020).
Like every other profession, this segment of social work also faced several successes and
downfall based on society’s perspective. Considering the success of this professional group, it
should be noted that teaching profession itself helped other professions to become successful and
emerge. The capabilities of social workers helped the students to learn and educate so that they

recommended that more awareness should be spread for the teaching profession so as to help the
people know importance about this profession. All these group form alliance with other social
workers to improve the literacy rate of the world. The teaching professional should also visit
remote so as to make people understand regarding the importance of education in life.
