INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism is that which considered as the important pillar of country and help in
economy as well, in today's scenario tourism is said to be main source of income for the country
and even though government of UK has also bought different policies for the development of
this sector too. Basically, tourism is classified into two parts i.e. Up to Global and domestic
level. Although UK is among those country where number of tourist is high and also having an
various tourist destination (Ahmad, 2013). Even many travel and tourism firm is such who
provide several offers to many travellers so that they can take there services in great manner. The
report is based on Virgin Holidays, which is founded by Sir Richard Brandson's and in the year
around 1985. company is serving millions of people with its Airlines services and become the
largest and somewhere also a successful one too. Assignment is going to discuss about different
destination with present and future trend in tourism. Although, Culture, social and physical
features with the tourist even it include the features of developing in tourist destination. It will
also discuss about as presently developing tourist destinations, its features which characteristics
tourist destination. Apart form all, issues of popularity with host community.
TASK 1
1.1 Tourist destination in terms of numbers and income.
Time changes everything even the environment and condition of travel and tourism.
Moreover these changes are those which occur due to different factor and features of the tourist
destination in great way (Armenski and et. al., 2011). Basically it has been noticed that number
of travellers has been increased because of change in condition and trend too. As per research,
the various destination which are popular regarding travelling is Spain, UK, Germany, USA and
Nepal. Number of travellers increased at such places because these countries have different
places to visit. According to reports of 2017, it represents as number of travellers in Nepal were
around 10.18 million which increased from 2016 too. In USA the number of visitor was around
10.1 million which also increased from its past years, In Spain the number was around 12.16
million, although in Germany number of visitor is approx. 37.2 million was there which is huge
in number. In last UK is among the top ranked tourist destination with 40.2 million in 2017 and
even though same country has faced a decline in travelling.

Hence, various major impact of these trends are there which can be noticed with revenue
generation sources of the employment opportunity.
Moreover, this country has an great number of visitor as because various place to visit in such
country. Therefore, tourism industry has also has increased the number of employment
opportunity so that living of standard of those people can also be increased too. Many travellers
visit to these country just because of culture and heritage places, museum and different nature
etc. Even though, according to information as above UK is considered as the top ranked
countries in terms of visitor.
Although, UK has faced the instability after Brexit too and in such condition they
managed to attract the number of people to visit there country (Beritelli, 2011). Even though the
Virgin Airlines also earn huge profit because in today's scenario concept of travel and tourism
has increased and many people are moving to their places to another place to enjoy their holidays
and other aspect too. In UK, London is the place where number of tourist come up to visit and
considered as the major destination.
Some famous destinations of the world where travellers are liked to visit more than one time are
explained in brief as below:-
 France – This country is considered as one of the most amazing place where number of
destinations are available to attract minds of customers. This nation is famous for its
historical locations with near about 37 sites are inscribed under list of World Heritage of
UNESCO. According to statistics, every year around 76.8 million foreign tourists come
to visit this place.
 USA – This country is the largest industry which serves million of tourism every year
both from domestic and international one. It is famous for natural wonders, historical
landmarks, beautiful cities and entertainment venues. As per consideration, in 2013 this
nation has visited by near about 55 million travellers of foreign countries.
 Germany – It is considered as the seventh most famous country in terms of tourism due
to beautiful destinations. This place is also rated as safest nation as well as known for
health tourism also. In 2014, around 27 million tourists has visited this place which is
seemed to be hiked as per statistics of previous year.
ï‚· UK - It is the 8th largest tourists destination where Tower of London is considered as
most visited attractive destination. Along with this, Blackpool, Wales, Swansea and more

It can be seen that the number of visitor has increased from last few years, which does
help country to earn good amount of revenues and also look further to conduct various type or
activities at such places so that more and more customer can be attracted too. Normally, London
is that destination which has great monuments, buildings, culture and museums etc. which
somewhere succeeds in attracting the large number of people in right context too. Moreover,
current ideas and trends in UK it is required to assess the number of people who are interested in
roaming in UK just because of its attractive sites (Crouch, 2011). Even though, according to the
above data it ha seen that UK is the one who has the number of visitor and they try to keep the
same for the longer period as well. Even though the number of visitor was around the 16.7
million travellers were there who visited such places and although Edinburgh is following the
London with around 14.2 million and among these a destination like Manchester is also there
who has around 9.11 million visitors in a particular year.

gained the eighth position while France, USA and China won top positions. Markets of these
countries are estimated by overall qualities and in terms of improvement which acquire positions
in business era of tourism. As per calculation, from last few years, there is 10% hike in GDP rate
which helps in giving job to 4 million people of such countries in better manner.

Cultural, social and physical is that thing which can be find in at every place as London
and Hong Kong is such destination which is being selected as the tourist destination for this
particular task. Although with this it can be assessed as advantages and disadvantages of these
two places (Di Pietro, Di Virgilio and Pantano, 2012). Generally for the evaluation and execution
of the cultural, physical and social features are such which is explained under such destination
as:
Physical: Landscapes, view of nature, lake overseas and more considered as physical
factors that influences tourism. In context with UK, its famous cities like Bath, Belfast,
Westminster, New York and more have beautiful destinations, best hotels, famous museums and
attractive landmarks which gain attraction of several tourists towards their beauty. London is
such place every traveller wants to travel for once in their life time and places is having an most
attracted museums and building even though mainly various people does go to such place as
because having an great educational facilities. Atmosphere of this country carrying rapid
changing nature as well as beautiful views of nature grabs mind of travellers most and assist
them to visit this place once in their life. As per statistical view, number of tourists was around
18,000,000 in 2013. On the other hand, Nepal is much famous for its heritages and old temples
like Phewa Lake & Tal Barahi, temples of Patan, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu and more. Along with
most amazing destinations of this country are Annapurna Massif, Mountains, hills, monasteries
etc. aid in attracting more tourism.

this country liked more by visitors. If level of standardisation of people is high and infrastructure
of place they are living is good then it would attract minds of travellers more. As London has
good infrastructure, neat and clean societies as well as level of income of people is much high so,
it aids in attracting tourists to explore a socially rich country. While infrastructure of Nepal is not
much attractive as most of the local people of this nation are living an average life. Therefore, it
affects minds of tourist having high status to visit destinations of this country in negative
manner.

on the basis of social, environment, technology, economic, legal and culture with physical

country. Generally these two country are distinct into various aspect and even there are various
places in these two which are attraction point for the travellers. For Example: Climate condition
at both the places is quite different as in UK climate is warm and somewhere suitable and on the
other side Nepal is having an climate of Hot which can affect the health of the various tourist
too. But Nepal is rich in terms of cultural and heritage destinations which seems to be most
attracted from tourist point of view.
Although, there are some factors which are uncontrollable as well as various sectors in
which industries are lie that does get affected with these. These factors can be explained as
below:-
Economic Factor: Travel and tourism is such which do involve the movement of people

places on low financial budget. While financial condition of UK is much higher, its high
infrastructure, way of living of people and more aid this country in attracting minds of tourists
more to visit its destinations.
Behaviour of local people: It is an another factor which also affects appeal of tourism. It
relates with behaviour of citizens and way of living of them. Lack of abilities like conversation
with tourists in their language results to decrease tourism in developing countries like Nepal.
