Introduction
Vincent Van Gogh is one of the most widely remembered as well as popular painters
that the world had ever seen. He is known for creating over 2000 paintings in over a decade
of his works. His paintings mainly focused on the depictions of the landscapes, still life,
portraits as well as self-portraits. His portraits were not commercially successful and he died
at the age of 37 from mental illness as well as poverty. This research paper will deal in details
with the paintings of Dr. Gatchet that the author had drawn.

The Painting of Dr. Gatchet was based on the real-life person of Dr. Gatchet who took
