companies and with the example, the concept can be made clear.
Analysis Related to E-Business and E-Commerce
As commented by Rodrigues, Oliveira and Costa (2016), the business world
is changing at a fast pace and the globalization and technological advancement has
been successful in causing extensive amount of competition as well as bringing
ability for purchasing better kind of products and services which assists in catering
more precise kind of needs as well as wants of customers than before. For
instance- Taobao is considered to be the top 10 e-commerce platform with the
massive base users’ base of more than 500 million. The parent company of Taobao
is Alibaba group (Taobao.com 2019).
It is one of the most successful e-business which is the huge online platform
that provides the customers with the different accessories, clothes along with
furniture and footwear along with other items which will be suitable for managing the
different needs without any such kind of existence of the different physical stores in
the different parts of the countries (Necula et al. 2018). From the respective case
example, it can be identified that e-commerce is successful in influencing the
decision-making of the different customers through which it allows them in reviewing
the different pricing strategies of other competitors online and gain knowledge before
making the final purchase.
On the contrary, as opined by Necula et al. (2018), there are different kinds of
demerits of utilizing the e-commerce sites and it cannot be suitable for the

businesses in the present scenario as after conducting various surveys, it has been
seen that the millennials present in the market prefer to purchase the products online
rather than following the outdated traditional technique (Guo et al. 2018). Due to the
same, Amazon, Alibaba or Walmart has increased their presence in online e-
commerce business to gain a strong customer base.
Role of E-Commerce and E-Business in Current Scenario of Business
As opined by Čiarnienė and Stankevičiūtė (2015), there are different kinds of
activities which are being performed by the e-commerce companies which will be
suitable for managing the needs of the different individuals successfully. The e-
commerce companies are always available with the different services round the
clock and the customers have the freedom to avail or enquire regarding the different
services or the products at any time they wish which will be effective. For instance-
Taobao is one such e-commerce company which provides the different customers
with the different products and services at a single platform and it has satisfied lakhs
of individuals in the market (Taobao.com 2019).
Moreover, as opined by Chao (2016), there are different attractive offers
available as there is lot of competition happening in the online market, due to which
the e-commerce sites are properly flooded with discounts and offers for attracting the
different customers. The different discounts up to 80% have become very common

products which are required to be purchased by them.
For instance- Amazon is one of the most popular examples of the online
shopping platforms which showcases and provides the different customers with the
different products and services at a reasonable rate. It is considered to be the
second most famous online e-commerce platform which helps them in increasing
their revenues and profitability successfully (Amazon.com 2019).

Therefore, it can be analyzed that the e-commerce and the e-business
concepts have been into current scenario which has been playing a vital role in
improving the business-related transactions. The different marketing techniques
which are being used by Amazon or the other online marketing companies such as
Taobao have been successful in increasing market share and it has helped them in
improving their growth. Through the incorporation of the e-commerce business, it is
helpful in promoting the personalized experiences to the different customers which
has assisted in managing the growth of the companies successfully. It has been
successful in promoting the whole customer convenience which has assisted the
companies in understanding the efficacies and it is beneficial for the management of
the company’s successful position through generating huge revenues and gain huge
level of profitability in contrast to other competitors.
