Educational equality is when student from different social and religious backgrounds are
able to get an equal representation in the society and above all in their school. As per my image
of educational equality/equity, students must be getting equal opportunities of pursuing their
interests and also openly communicate their feelings and their ideas. Teachers teaching in the
classes must have an unbiased point of view and must be treating all their students with equal
amount of love and affection (Lee & Hanna,2015). They must make sure that all the students are
getting freedom and no one is becoming the victim of discrimination or bullying. Therefore it
must be ensured that the during any contest like cycling context the distribution of the cycles
must take place properly in a equitable manner. This will ensure that all the participants are
getting a proper representation in the contests. For an example if there is any cycling competition
being conducted it must be ensured that the contest coordinators or the event managers are being
able to distribute same size cycles to the same size or the able students and differently sized
cycles to the different sized or the differently able or disabled students. This will ensure that
none of the students are being ignored or insulted on the account of their physical deformity.

Connor- Theory of Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs is holds good in this aspect because it is evident
that Connor is suffering from the lack of the basic necessities of life. It must be seen that in order
to study well and shine in life individuals must be getting a good food, clothing and shelter
supply. Physiological needs or the basic needs for food and home us absent in this case. Connor
suffers from the lack of enough food and shelter. He is homeless and thus always feels tired and
hungry.He is currently having no educational strength
Kelsy has everything that an individual needs in life. However she lacks motivation and never
gets any kinds of praises from her family. It is for this reason that she is always suffering from
nervousness. Herzberg’s theory holds good here. Just as employees need certain motivation
factors, same is the case with students (Alshmemri, Shahwan-Akl & Maude, 2017). As Kelsy is
not getting any praise or recognition she is demotivated. She has a good educational skill and can
complete her homework’s but needs to be encouraged by family
Elton- Elton has witness the horrors of war and destruction. He is detaches from his parents and
is living along with his uncle. Though he is having a shelter and clothes he is suffering from the
lack of safety needs and social needs ( Lee & Hanna, S.2015). As far as the Maslow’s Need
Hierarchy theory, an individual must have proper safety and security along with the affection of
near and dear ones. Elton must be given proper language training so that he can carry on the
education.
Tammy-Tammy has the ability to study but stays unwell due to the lack of love and affection
from parents. Though Tammy’s parents are divorced but they still try to stay active in the school
and help Tammy study well by overcoming all challenges.
