Equality and Diversity at the workplace can be defined as the promotion of

all without making any kind of discrimination which is related to their
gender religion culture and nationality. Equality speaks about ensuring that
everyone has equal opportunities and rights and they should not treat
differently or discriminated on the basis of their characteristics and skills. On
the other hand diversity States about taking care of all the differences among
people and different group of people and provide them positive values. For
example, in many organisation black workers will not get proper training
opportunity as compared to white workers which is totally incorrect an
organisation must treat Their employees equally and should provide them
proper training and development opportunities (Keisu and Ahlström, 2020).
Apart from this menu organisation lay off older workers and they want only
young workers in their organisation which is again discrimination present on
organisation. Discrimination and partiality is very common in the
organisation due to that those people who have proper skill eligibility and
knowledge they do not get proper opportunities to prove themselves and
their talent. This is also inappropriate for the organisation because when they
hire a skilled or less skilled people on the basis of discrimination that do not
get proper opportunities to and profitability and achieve their predetermined
goals.

It is very important for the organisation to promote equality and Diversity at the workplace because it will create
healthy environment for it employees and they do not feel discriminated and get proper opportunities to show their
talent skills and knowledge. It is the responsibility of the organisation and higher management that they must
recognise unconscious bias within the workplace and make proper policies and strategies to tackle them. Apart from
this it is the responsibility of the organisation in management the most prepare equality policies at the workplace so
that all the employees can treated fairly on day to day activities and management can take all the work related
decisions whether it is recruitment training promotion and pay structure all employees must get it as per their skills
and knowledge. Apart from this organisation must follow free discrimination and communication strategy so that
people cannot communicate sexiest language with each other and do not follow any kind of harassment towards
female employees (Stonehouse, 2021.). Another thing which organisation can do is that they must provide advice to
