Analyzing Globalization: Negative Impacts, Cultural Identity Crisis

Globalization is bad Because the local
 Globalization is bad as it has not taken
place on an all round level. In other
words only a handful of people are
benefitted out of this and not the entire
population (Iyall Smith 2013).
 Globalization can be negative as it is
creating an identity crisis among many
individuals. This is creating oneness
but at the same time this is also making
the cultures lose their sense of identity
and their dynamism. So, this is the
negative aspect of globalization.
 Globalization makes people connect
with each other without fearing about
the distance or the time zones between
them. They can easily reach out to one
another as and when needed. However
this is not taking place on a fully

place in a fully fledged or proper
manner.
 So, it can be said that Globalization is
taking place but only in the superficial
levels. Efforts are to be made so that
the globalization is taking place in an
overall manner.

are face book, twitter, online blogs and
many other such areas. So, people
living in different parts of the world can
easily get knowledge about all the
places just with the help of a single
click. For an instance the islands
located in the remote regions have the
chance of getting a good flow of money
with the arrival of new tourists into
their lands. However sue to
globalization a huge amount of the
information is available right from the
internet and people no longer feel the
urge of going into these lands. So, there
is a negative impact not only on the
culture but also on the financial aspects
of these places.

of globalization. However one cannot
say that there are no downsides off
nationalism.
