INTRODUCTION
Discrimination is treatment or consideration of doing distinction towards a person or
group of person based on caste, religious, nationality, gender, age etc. it creates
misunderstanding among members who are working at one place. Moreover, it involves unfairly
treatment by a person who behave differently from others. Most of the organisation discriminate
among candidates at the time of hiring the and providing training and development (Du Preez,
Simmonds and Verhoef, 2016). To understand this NHS has been taken that is UK based
company and provides health services to all customers. The main aim of NHS is to provide best
customer care services and increase the effective, sustainable and fair resources that increases
customer loyalty by providing better quality of services. This report will emphasis discrimination
discrimination which are running in organisation. In other words, organisation hires candidates
on the basis of discrimination.
Main Body
Background: National health services is a multinational services provider company
which is affiliated from Health and Social care was established in 1948. It provides range of
services that attract customers and make feel them healthy and secure. A part from this, it
provides dental and optical care services in order to make feel good. The manager of NHS
understand the problems of patients and provides them good treatment. Additionally, it focuses
on promotion of NHS occupational health services and best clinical business practices that attract
the customer to get treatment from NHS organisation (Kristman and et.al., 2016).
Aim: The main aim of this report is to find out the people who are suffering from
discrimination in NHS organisation. To know the experience of suffered people interview
process has been conducted that shows how they feel at work place.
Methods of discrimination: NHS is health service provider company that focuses on
health and safety of people. As it is international industry who give health and safety services. It
does discriminate with employees at work place. It involves direct and indirect method of
discrimination that affect employees and their behaviour. NHS has around 150,000 doctors and
more than 320,0000 nurses. Through interview process it has been analysis that two people who
are working at there are facing discrimination issues on the basis of Nationality. Employer
discriminate among people who are from different country.

Nationality & Work situation: The employer of NHS treat two people unfavourably
because they are from a particular country or nor belong to same country. Discrimination on the
basis of nationality affects any one. This type of discrimination make feel so bad and get realize
them that they are from different country who is not able to perform job (Spence and et.al.,
2016). While interview process it has been analysed that manager asks personal questions such
as relates to caste, background, nationality, religious, age, gender etc. And provide job to same
kind of person. In short, manager give preference to same caste, religious, nationality rather than
capabilities and experience to accept the challenges. Interviewer has also asked about their
experience that how they feel to go through discrimination practices. The manager of NHS also
paid 30% less than other employees because they are from different nationality.
Harassment: This is illegal to harass the NHS staff on the basis of Nationality that
involves offensive and uncomplimentary remarks about people's national origin. Moreover,
employer also give preference to same nationality person and give promotion to them.
Experience: From the interview practices it has been analysed that staff of NHS who
suffered from Nationality discrimination feels so bad at work place. Employer treat them
unfavourably and not provides all facilities which is provided to all staff. A part from this, staff
gets demotivate and lose their confidence level in order to perform their job role.
During interview process, one interviewee has said that employer is not promoting for
their good performance and not allowed to speak freely as they want in their native language that
reduces growth opportunities. On other side, another interviewee shared experience that some
times employer's client and patients does not like to get services from different origin person that
make feel to reassigned or deny the job because of discrimination.
Results: Discrimination among members and employees on the basis of age, religious,
nationality and gender affects both mentally and physically consequences like as : employees
gets disappointed, depression , stress and anxiety. It make feel employees fear, inferiority and
anger for discrimination. Moreover, employees loss self esteem, social relation and self worth
because of discrimination by employer at workplace (Worth and Hardill, eds., 2015). By
discrimination employees discontinue the job and feels nervous at workplace.
The manager should not discriminate among staff and should give a chance to new
employees for showing the capabilities of employees. A manager need to focus on employees
experience and skills while hiring the staff and should ask job relates question that helps to

motivate the staff and give them chance to work in changeable environment. The law prohibits
discrimination when it contains employment aspects such as recruiting, selecting, promotion, pay
off, benefits, promotion and other job policies. Therefore, the employer of NHS should not
discriminate and need to treat equally to all employees that will helps to increase the productivity
and confidence level.
CONCLUSION
From the above research it has been concluded that discrimination is the big issue in all
organisation that leads to health and mental problems for instance, increased stress, anxiety and
depression. Moreover, it is a prejudicial treatment of a person based on religion, colour,
nationality, gender, age and sexual orientation that increase the depression and disappointed
situation. This report covered various topics such as method of discrimination and how to select
the staff without discrimination in order to showing capabilities and skills. Moreover, report
contained results of discrimination and how it affect the employees.
