The author first elaborates the elements that make up an abstract. For instance, the
purpose of the study, the problem, type of data and kind of if research. From that perspective, the
writer can identify the limitation of the abstract, that is, age bias employers used to choose
potential candidates for employment in reference to Lester & Nusbaum, (2018). In responding to
the elements of an excellent qualitative statement, the write identifies main words to express a
purpose statement. They should be like purpose and goal to catch the reader’s attention. The
main idea should always be one. For example, in this context, the researcher is analyzing how
individuals cognitive represent AIDS. Another overwhelming response of this post is that it has
elaborated the element of an excellent quantitative statement understandably. It says that an
excellent quantitative statement should have the variables in the study together with their
relationships, research site, and the participants according to Creswell & Creswell, (2018).
However, the rationale of using a mixed approach is essential in both qualitative and
quantitative data. The combined approach provides quality understanding, and the researcher
would present his or her ideas in a broader perspective manner. Lastly, the response of this post
on how to unite research question is that the purpose statement allows the researcher to write the
specific problem. However, the hypothesis statement works together with a purpose statement to

that the purpose is a little bit incomplete. When the author state actual older generation, it seems

statement should comprise of action verbs and neutral words to make it appealing. On the part of
components of an excellent quantitative element, the writer has clearly shown that it is essential
for the researcher first to know what variable have an impact on the outcome of the research
before developing a quantitative statement. Apart from that, what makes a quantitative statement
is the choice of words. The author should always use words like intent and purpose.
On the other hand, the rationale of using mixed methods in the research according to this
post is that it assists in bringing more understanding on both quantitative and qualitative
statement in reference to Wacquant, (2011). Lastly, the conjunction of hypothesis and research
question is to assist in focusing what the phenomenon of the researching is going to be, what is
the likely outcome of the research.
