Abstract
Tourism and Travel application will be based on Android Development. This application will
give users to search for the places which are most famous for traveling and tourism in Australia.
This application will be able to book tickets for the users for their choice of places and in their
budget. This android application will be supported in smartphones so users can easily access it
and book their trip from anywhere. This system will be able to solve the problems of the offline
booking of tours.
Introduction
Tourism and Travel will be using a database for the tickets and user information. This
application will give many sale options on a trip to users which will attract them to book and
share this application to others. This application will perform many tasks which are related to
travel places like booking and an overview of that location. This application will also provide
user interaction with feedback and reviews.

Software Requirements
 PayPal Payment gateway will be used for payment.
 AWS server will be used for cloud storage of application and user data.

 Database (MySQL) is used for storing data or information about the application.

 Android version 4.0 or more.
 Customer will sign first before login into the application.
 Payment will proceed by Debit and Credit Card or PayPal.

 User Login: User will require to log in for using the booking facility and the other
functionality of the application.

 Tour packages: Holiday packages will be provided with full board, half board, 3-5 days
or 7 days.
 Tours destination will be displayed while searching for their selected destination.
 Customer can review (comments or ratings) on the tour services.
 After selecting a destination, the user will be asked for transportation such as Car,
Flights, or any other.
 Accommodation facility (such as hotels and nearby destination) will be provided while
tour bookings (Sanjaya, 2017).
 After the above activities, customers will do the payment via debit or credit card or
PayPal for confirmation of tour booking.
 Recent History will be provided where the user can see their previous tour bookings.
 Special offers will also be provided while booking their selected tours such as holiday
packages or discount coupons.
Deliverables
 After gathering requirements, the documentation will be provided for approval of the
analysis of an application.
 After analysis, the documentation will be provided for the approval of application
designing.
 After completing the design of the application, it will be provided to the client.
 After approval for designing, the complete designed and developed application will be
provided to the client.
 Maintenance will be provided as per the client needs.
Additional Features
 Discount coupons for every tour were provided to the customers.
 Extra discounts will be provided to the new customer or the very first booking.
 Customers can also review the services of the tour for which they have used.

The above figure explains the whole project planning of the mobile application where each
activity was defined in the specified days. It illustrates the schedule of the project with the time
intervals of each and every activity for developing the project. The whole project was divided
into 5 milestones such as feasibility analysis, designing, implementation, testing, and
documentation. Each milestone has to be completed before starting the next milestone. This
project plan will help in better documentation which is going to be delivered to the client so that
the client can see the process implementation behind the application development (Maryam, et
al., 2016).
Conclusion
This application fulfills all the requirements of the user who wants to book a trip with their
smartphones using this android application. This android based application of tourism and travels
facilitate users to find the tourist places near their location in Australia Region. User can log in or
register for this application via their personal details. Users can book their trip according to the
budget using payment gateways like PayPal. User Freedom will be the most concern issue for
this application. The application will provide security to users with their passwords.
