Summary of Weekly Topic
The study of week 3 explains the development of the UI or User Interface design along
with analysis of the effective controlling operations of Activity. The change orientation of the
Android Application can be done by using setRequestOrientation(). The mode of the screen
orientation can be changed to portrait or landscape by using the function of
ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE/POTRAIT. The use of the Action bar
would be helpful for accessing and functioning of the UI. The functions of overriding, registering
for the windows, listening to the UI notifications and controlling the operations are helpful for
the development of UI for Android Application.
