Introduction
There are many disagreements in respect of the animal rights. The animal rights
supporters consider that it is ethically wrong to abuse the animals in any method. The human
being are not required to do so. The animals do not require rights to deserve protection. A
best moral case can made for considering the animals and their interest which does not
involve accepting animal rights. The animal lovers believe that the animal not only need
protection in an authorised manner. The animals have rights which are to be respected. The
animal neglect considers as the failure to give elementary care for the animals. Severe neglect
means long time of extreme suffering which results in the death or serious injury. The single
large-scale neglect case may affect the many animals like the cases of farm neglect and
puppy mills (Kaung, 2017). In this essay, the animal right and neglected pets are discussed
and critically examined.
Need of animal right-
The animal’s right should be respected. In comparison of the interests, the rights are
more important. The reason is that rights levy the obligations and the burden on the other
people that it should be accepted by the other party. The animals have some rights so it is
required by the humans not to do the certain things. These certain things done by the human
beings violate the rights of the animal. The rights of the animal apply with no regards of the
cost of the human beings because humanity has some consequences of respecting the rights
of the animal (Lui, 2018).
The question is that the rights should be given to all the animals. The animal’s right
should not be given to all the animals. The rights of the animals should be given only to the
higher animals. The higher animals are the animals having capacity of learning and form the
intentions, plan and act for the future (Blum & Ott, 2018).

Comparison between human rights and the animal rights-
The rights of the animal and rights of the human are not same. It is not required that
animals should have rights of the human beings. The right of freedom of religion, right to
vote, freedom of speech and right of education are not relevant for the animals (Rachels,
2017). These rights relevant for the human beings.
Consequences of animal right for the human being-
There are some rights provided to non-human animal which are required to be
accepted by the human being. The non-human animal is not a machine. They are conscious.
The animals are not objects. They have their own interest. It is required by the human beings
to respect the interests of the animals. The human beings are also required to respect the
rights of the non-human animals. The human beings should not abuse the animals. The non-
human animals should not be treated as the objects by the human beings. They should also
not be considered as machines by the human beings (Cochrane, 2012).
It is a duty of the human beings not to kill the non-human animals. The human beings
are not required to harm the non-human animals. Unless it is a right of non-human animals
not to be killed by the human beings. The other rights are useless since these rights can be
avoided by killing the non-human animals. It means the rights of the non-human animals
restrict the human beings. The non-human animals cannot be used in the medical experiment
or any medical test. It means the scientists and the doctors cannot applied the test over the
non-human animals. This is the disadvantage for the human beings because sometimes this
restriction of not to apply the medical experiment on the non-human animals lead to the death
of the human beings from the disease. Because here are some diseases which may be
discovered by the medical test or the medical experiment (Posluszna, 2015).

Animal neglect-
The animal neglect involves the Animal abuse and cruelty to the animals. It can be the
reason of the injury or suffering for the particular achievement. For example, murder of the
animals for the foods, murder of the animals for the fur, kill the animals for clothing, kill the
animals for the entertainment, kill the animals for the research and murder of the animal for
the other products. The animal neglect is related with the human neglect which involves the
dependent person, elder or the children. The handling of the animals or pets is the case of
large-scale neglect. The handling of the pet is required so much efforts and care. The
expenses to handle the animal are more (Christopher, Orton & Monnet, 2018).
The animal cruelty can stopped in the two ways- active cruelty or the passive cruelty.
The passive cruelty is characterised by the animal neglect cases. In the passive cruelty,
cruelty is lack of action instead of the action itself. The examples of the animal neglect are
undernourishment, thirst, infestation, parasite, no proper shelter in adverse weather
conditions, collar to raise in the skin of the animal and lack of care. The main reason of the
animal cruelty is the ignorance of the pets. The owners of the pet are required to be educated
in proper manner. The investigators should revisit the conditions (Bierne, 2016).
Conclusion-
So as per the above analysis it can be said that the animal abuse is linked with the
domestic violence. The animal neglect is a worrying trend in the society. It can be stopped by
adopting many alternatives. The harm committed to the non-human animal is required to be
reduced because the non-human animals are not human. The use of the animal in the medical
experiment should be reduced because it violates the rights of the human because the non-
human animals have to be suffered during the medical experiment or medical testing done by
the scientist and the doctors. It is required to make aware the people about the animal right
