The chosen social movement for this assignment is the rights of the animals and the
objective towards the protection of the non human species from any kind of arbitrary sufferings.
The initiation right and the origin of the rights of the animals for the protection and the
prevention of the animals from any kinds of cruelty was first introduced in the United States, by
the American Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (ASPCA). Founded by Henry
Bergh in the year April 1866, this social movement of the globe operates within the institutional
powers and the structures (Haas & Ferreira, 2016). Often called as the animal liberation
movement, the rights of the animals towards their person hood and the advocacy movement
seeking to an abolition of the rigid moral and the regulatory distinction among the rights of the
humans and the animals. The propagation of the animal rights movement is an collective or a
joint action featuring both the organized action and the sustained action for ending and
abolishing the status of the animals as the property and towards the abolition of their use in case
of food, clothing, research and for other entertainments by the humans. The concept of the social
movement of the animal rights is still a big challenge for the globe since many of the people still
argues whether the animals have any rights or not. It is indeed a challenge for the authority
concerned with the animal rights movement to effectively propagate the notion among the globe
(Singer, 2017). The ordinary people of the civil society are still evolving with the belief though
they do not constitute the authority. The factor of the animal well being is becoming an essential
factor for the stakeholders and the customers who requires to develop closer link among the
profitability of the business and the protection of the environment. The context of the animal
rights thus can be considered as one of the key factors or sites for bringing a social and a cultural
change.

One of the examples of the social movement organization in the filed of the animal rights
is the Animal Liberation Front or the ALF. This group of people engages in some of the direct
measures or actions towards the prevention and the protection of the rights of the animals. The
working pattern of the members of this group is somewhat different. According to various
sources, the activist of this social organization removes the distressed animals from the caged
laboratories and the farms and arranges some of the safe places and veterinary care and
sanctuaries for the animals. There working pattern sinks with the political and the ideological
program of the nation they operate. The objective of the Animal Liberation Front or the ALF is
to end any sort od cruelty or abuse against the animals (Kopnina & Gjerris, 2015). The activist of
the Animal Liberation Front or the ALF do this by eliminating and liberating the animals from
any sort of the exploitative situations like the laboratories where they are kept and used for
conducting experiments and research. Often in case of the cosmetic plants, animals are used for
testing the drugs over their skin before approval. According to the ethical consideration the
group targets to allocate enough resources for ending the property status of the non human
species who are in utmost danger (Cooke, 2017). The concept of the ideology collaborates with
the relation and the connection among the individual differences and the moral philosophies
together with the attitudes of the people towards their consideration and the treatment towards
the animals.
Task 3
Animal rights, the social movement has developed some of the institutionalized
components since is it essential to address the rights of the species who cannot express. Meeting
of the welfare and the wellbeing of the animals and the requirements for the scientific, ethical

and the regulatory reasons is essential. The aim of the institutionalized component is to minimize
the sufferings and the pain of the animals together with the ensuring of the fact that research
related to the animals undergo ethical treatments of the animals (Kymlicka & Donaldson, 2014).
The multiple regulations relating to the mandated and the voluntary animal wellbeing aims
towards the balance of these requirements by allowing of the conduction of the research related
to the animals to be conducted with no suffering of the animals. Institutionalized component is a
necessity in the context of the social movement like the animal rights movement to make the
people of the nation and the globe aware of the ethical considerations and the limitations on the
nature of them towards the disregard and the unfair treatments towards the animal (Garner,
2016). These views of the world as the importance of the rights of the animals are increasing
irrespective of the morally acceptable fact of the dependency over the animals by the human
race.
Task 4
The fundamental concept of the protection of the rights of the animals is a similar
concept that of the rights of the human race towards the protection from any arbitrary treatments
and sufferings (Armstrong & Botzler, 2016). The assignment focuses on the protection of the
lives of the animals by the elimination of their involvement or use in case of testing and other
unfair and cruel behavior. These are the stories of the animals who are often killed for using
them as food and some of the other purposes. These are the stories challenging the morality and
the ethics of the human (Wrenn, 2016). There has been multiple regulatory measures and the
laws in the globe, initiated for the protection of the animals. From the ethical perspectives, these
stories need to be banned and the pain and the sufferings of the animal needs to be stopped. The
main audience for these stories of the ill-treatment of the animals is the human itself. The human

creating the animal rights organization aiming to protect the endangered lives of the individual
are the audience and the activist who can help the animals from being tortured.
