Summary of the article (Energy Matching Analysis for Net-Zero Energy Buildings)
This article explores zero energy buildings using previous studies. Using a case study previously
conducted on ZEBs the author investigates energy matching in building and its associated impact
on the various considerations on energy balance. The author begins by defining net-zero energy
from 3 different metrics including site, primary and carbon dioxide emissions. Other than the
three metrics explored the author also examines the definition of NZEB aspects before
continuing to analyses energy matching. The analysis is based on LM indicators including load
cover factor and supply cover factor and GI characterized by 3 factors that define import
export/import interaction between the building and nearby energy grid. From the energy
matching based on bidirectional electricity flow, the author confirmed that relatively power
technologies and co-generation provides a better matching in comparison to the conventional
systems.

This is good article averagely article learning ZEB. The author carefully introduces the meaning
of Zero Energy Building before proceeding to investigating the energy balance metrics. The
