Introduction
Childhood is the most important stage in every individual’s life. A child need be
provided with proper care covering all the domains of life including – physical, spiritual,
cognitive, social, and emotional. Measuring the childhood wellbeing is crucial as every child
needs to be happy from the initial stage of life to become a healthy and positive individual
being in future. Hence, the study will demonstrate all the aspects of childhood wellbeing with
relevant research works by scholars.
Summary of Article 1 – Physical domain
This research article is focused on the physical wellbeing of the children. The problem
of this article is to investigate about the role of educators in the process of early childhood
education. Along with this the problem includes the four important components – Learning,
Eating, Active play, and sleep to acknowledged by the Australian educators for promoting
positive health of the children of Australia. The professionals of this LEAP program focus on
the methodologies of online reading and face-to-face learning for the professional
development (Cleland et al., 2018). The participants of this research were the educators of the
LEAP program. The entire article demonstrated each components of the LEAP program to
describe the importance of health in early childhood education. Nutrition is also an important
part to secure physical wellbeing of the children. On the other hand, the LEAP program
provide importance to some series of important components that includes online
registration, program questionnaire, pre-professional development, pre-reading, and
professional development program.
Summary of Article 2 – Spiritual domain
This article introduced the spiritual dimension of Childhood wellbeing. The
researchers began their article with considering the continuous shrinking process of the places

that is growing up against the backdrop of the polarized attitudes that is the reason even in the

non-conscious learning, and Islamophobia in the description of spiritual wellbeing of the
Australian community (Souza, 2016). The concepts were introduced within this article to
demonstrate the role of spirituality in the education system. It considered the nurturing
procedure in relation to all the aspects of a student’s life promoting the feeling of

community of Australia. The core agenda of this research work is the concept working

Implications
All the mentioned articles demonstrate the importance of physical, spiritual,
cognitive, social, and emotional development for children. Combining all the mentioned
studies, it is easy to understand for providing complete care for children the educators and the
family members must recognise the importance of all the factors associated with their
wellbeing. All the individual domains mentioned each of the article can bring all round
development among the children. Australia is multicultural place where the domain of early
childhood education is observed with various challenges and issues. As mentioned by the
researchers, the childhood is the most crucial time to foster a healthy development among an
individual. Along with the physical development the classroom atmosphere must include
activities that will ensure good mental health. The emphasis is provided on the behavioural
and emotional ability of the children to deal with the challenges at present and in the future
also. Hence, the researchers from the domain of cognitive wellbeing mentioned all aspects of
development including the physical, emotional, and communal. On the other hand, the
researchers from the domain od social wellbeing mentioned some strong aspects that makes a
child competitive enough for the world it includes – confidence, positive relationship,
communication ability, and persistence for accepting the challenges.
Conclusions
As a conclusion, it can be said that, childhood is the stage to build the basic abilities
of a healthy human being. Basic abilities cover all the domains of development including –
physical, spiritual, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. All the aspects in combination
brings the all-round development among the children. The researchers measured some

collection of aspects that are important for childhood wellbeing especially in Australia. It
includes – happiness, sense of satisfaction, optimism, sadness, perseverance, regulation of the
emotions, and worries. The young generation of Australia is observed with various challenges

Australian government is taking remarkable measures to reduce the obstacles for the
childhood development.
