In this discussion over the literature, Saeidi et al., (2015) have focused on the importance
of CSR activities in recent times and their direct relationship with the firm performance. The fact
of the strengthening relationship established between firm performance and CSR have been
considered to be positive in recent times. According to previous studies in the area of focus of
CSR have discussed that reputation, competitive advantage and customer satisfaction have been
the prime outcomes with the implications of CSR on the performance of a firm.
The study focused within the current research majorly discusses on the relationship and it
has been considered as complex than the outcomes of the previous studies. From the final
outcomes of results focused within the study have revealed the fact that sustainable competitive
advantage have been omitted from the list while only reputation and customer satisfaction have
