The author, Conduct research on the topic of Leadership Models in Health Cared (Trastek,
Hamilton and Niles, 2014). Main aim to conduct this research is to overcome the challenges that has
been faced by health care system (Hasmin, 2017). Formative methodology that has been used to
conduct this research is leadership focused solutions in order to effectively address the
challenges. In doing daily activities of the organisation, leaders have to face many hurdles while
making the team mates work. Some of the major challenges that has been faced by health
providers are to make necessary improvement in the value of heath care in an overall manner.
Present research is segregated into many sections in which first one states health care system
stakeholders and further defines challenges that creates obstacles to create best effective health
care system in order to effectively improve quality for providing valuable health care services to
patients while simultaneously decreasing cost. On the next hand, second section of research
evaluates the way in which health care providers effectively offer their services with the help of
crucial leadership as to accomplish their goals. In addition with this third part of this research
contains requirement of leadership education and development in order to effectively undertake
leadership roles. Lastly, fourth section of this research focuses on servant leadership model as
best for both health care organisations as well as for providers. In relation to this, technology and
formative in medication represented as an one of the best effective tool in this research with the
help of which lifesaving tools can be gained (Sukoco, 2017). Present research holds a great
strength and provides formative leadership model that can be used by health care providers some
of the certain leadership models are Transactional leadership, adaptive leadership,
transformational leadership and servant leadership. Further findings which is received, states that
servant leadership emerged as an one of the best effective dominant model as it is effectively

combined with ethical and professional duties with the help of which heath care providers can
effectively serve their duties. The given case helped me to know about the importance of servant
leadership and the characteristics and traits of these leaders in development of effective teams.
The study effectively helped me to determine effectiveness of leadership models in order to
conduct roles and responsibilities within health care sector in ethical and effective manner. By
this case study I get to learn about different type of leadership styles which are followed by
different leaders and managers according to business situations. This enhances my knowledge
and learning about situational leadership that I can use in doing some projects or researches
related to leadership.

transformational leadership that helps in formative motivation via high moral vales and ideas. In
this research author viewed transformational leadership as an one of the most essential model
within leadership as it helps in recognising the formative importance of rewards while satisfying
need of followers. Research contains some of the effective measures like, inspirational
motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualised consideration that will benefit in fulfilling
shared vision of organisation (Hosseinzadeh, Davoudi and Jokar, 2014). This research contains
some of the effective qualities such as, risk taker, visionary, effective communicator, courages,
emotionally mature and more that are necessary to be posses by transactional leaders. There are
different kind of leadership that are adopted by leaders. Sometimes leaders have to be harsh and
on the other side they have to be kind and make their followers work effectively.Research
include optimal team performance as their central matter for effective transformational leader. In
this author states concluded that it is essential for nurse leaders to make themselves more

The author, conduct research on the topic of “leadership and job satisfaction among
Azorean hospital nurses” Formative aim to conduct this research is to effectively nurses
managers, leadership behaviour and then further make comparison among them with staff nurses,
determination of leadership components that affects staff nurses job satisfaction. Main objective
to formulate research is to effectively determine job satisfaction level within staff nurses, and
nurse managers along with comparison among each of them (Muhdar, 2018). In order to
effectively conduct this research formative methods such as 266 nurses participation form two of
the public Portuguese Azorean hospitals. Further, instruments that has been used to accomplish
research objective include, adaptability description and leadership effectiveness questionnaire
that was framed by Hersey and Blanchard. With the help of these instruments effective asses of
leadership behaviour can be efficiently done. In addition with this as to further enhance
effectiveness of this research job satisfaction instruments are also consider in order to effectively
determine satisfaction of staff nurses. This study suggests that there is huge impact on the

behaviour of employees by the leadership style of leaders. The nurses of Azorean hospitals have
undergone trainings about leadership for increasing their effectiveness in managing patients and
hospital management. Further, as to conduct this research in an ethical manner ethical approval
was gained from Ethic Committee of hospitals. Final outcome that has been achieved is, it is
essential to invest in the training of nurses as to effectively improve the efficiency of
management in hospital wards. Preliminary data that has been gained from questionnaire
evaluates percentage of nurses job satisfaction that ranged form 0 to 100%. The author further
declared that there were no such conflicts of interest occurred in order to conduct research in best
effective manner (Dewi, 2018). This research effectively help me to understand the effectiveness
of and relationship with job satisfaction and requirement of training in hospital wards. This
project helps me to analyse the importance of situational leadership and in this way I can figure
out what is the best leadership style.
