and energy in social media and the internet. In fact, the

Argument 1
Youngsters are spending enormous time on the internet and
social media sites. It is disconnecting them from their immediate
vicinity. Can we justify this behavior in favor of the development
of the social skills of a Youngster?

Many psychologists and others have already started advocating
about the presence of the human factor in the life of an individual
because they believe that online companionship can never
become a replacement for the human presence in the life of a
person.

Youngsters are not spending quality time with their immediate
families and friend circles. This factor is heading them towards
isolation and in the absence of intimate familial bonds, they can
find it difficult to face the world during the tough times of their

Social media is emerging as a serious place for business deals. It
is allowing some likeminded people to come together and share
their visions. We cannot neglect the contribution of social media
in speeding up certain issues and practices that have changed the
world completely for positive reasons.

Social media also allows anti-social elements and anti-
establishment elements to come together and this can give rise to
criminal tendencies and allow a person to justify wrong means.

Cyberbullying is emerging as a sophisticated prank, the teenagers
are using all sort of symbolic methods to bully vulnerable peers
in their group.

As it happens in the real world, even cyberbullying can lead to
serious psychological consequences.

This new Avatar of real-life bullying is very hard to scale and
culprits can walk away very easily.
Counter Argument
Sometimes bullying can give rise to strong relationships, it

should not be kept under strong censorship because it is a human
trait and the consequences are dependent on the emotional
response of an individual.

Cyberbullying should be stopped because it can cause some
serious psychological damages. Things can become very difficult
in the case of Cyberbullying because we don't have substantial
laws to prevent it.

Many teenagers are complaining that they cannot live without
internet, Absence of the internet for a day brings a sense of
emptiness in their life.

This addiction is forcing them to cut down their physical
activities and this inactivity can become a major reason behind
some physiological illnesses.

The virtual world is disconnecting them from their real world
because they are not able to withdraw themselves from the
Internet. This continuous connectivity with the individuals is
bringing overexposure among the people and forcing them to end
the relationships.

Internet is going to become the meeting place of future
civilizations, it is redefining our life in a better way and helping
us in organizing certain spheres of life like the work field and
personal frontiers.

Internet and social media are promoting a fake subculture and
this fake subculture can spoil the life of the teenagers.
Conclusion
Internet is giving rise to an anti-social youth population.
However, it is also changing the dynamism and norms of society.
What we are considering as anti-social behavior, may become the
social norm for future societies.
