In addition to this, centralized scanner/printer machines are used and the systems are
connected to the switches by the means of CAT 6 cables in the network. The switches used in
the network for the connections are Cisco Catalyst 2800 24 Port Layer 2 switch. The layer 2
switches consist of the 24 ports that can be used for the connection to the networks. The Cisco
Catalyst 2800 Series Routers are also used for the successful division of the network and also
for guiding the networks. This network would be stable for the company for an even length of
time.

The New Hp Laserjet Pro Color M176n Multifunction Printer (Print, Scan. Copy,
Network) are selected for the company. The printer would be very helpful for the company as
this would be very efficient for the network. the print speed of the printer is 16 ppm. In
addition to this, USB 3.0, Ethernet (RJ-45), USB 2.0 contentions are enabled in the printer. In
addition to this, the printer also provides the option of both printing and scanning to the
company.
Activity 3:

The analysis of the top three Internet Service Provider is done in this report. Selection
among one of these Internet Service providers is a must for the company as these as these are
very efficient and also provides a wide range of product.
Activity 5:
The internal communication within the network is very essential and this provided by
the Internet Service provider within the network. the portal and the email services are provided
by the internet services provider. No extra Servers are installed in the network, as this would
increase the cost of the network. The network is distributed within the whole office by the
means of routers and switches. The file transfer procedures within the network are also
performed on the web by the network and the components of the network.

It can be easily seen that the network is only required to me implemented within a
single floor. The different segments in the floor are Administrator manager, Film Editor, Office
Area Worker, Conference Lounge, and Temporary Worker Area. five Switches are selected and
installed in the network for distribution of the network in the different parts of the office. The
switches are connected to the network via means of router. The main switch is connected to
the router and in addition to this four other switches are connected to the main switch. Among
the four switches one is connected to the machine of the administrator, another one is
connected to the machine of the video editor. In addition to this a switch is allocated for the

setup. WPA2 is the IEEE 802.11i standard that restricts the access of outsiders in the network.
The WPA2 security makes use of the advanced encryption security. This security is generally
used by the IEEE 802.11i standard. In fact, the IEEE 802.11i standard is known as the WPA2 or
the IEEE 802.11i standard. The AES also known as Counter Mode Cipher Block Chaining-
Message Authentication Code (CBC-MAC) protocol (CCMP) is used efficiently by this security
standard. This helps to provide both data efficiency and also data integrity within the network.
This is used as the security standard is more secure than the WEP and the WPA2 security
standards.

Future plans
The network can be easily expanded in the future. This network can be utilized to add
more number of systems into the network. For this, the bandwidth of the network is required
to be increased and also the number to systems and access points in the networks can also be
increased. In addition to this the design of the network is done so that the network is suitable
for the next 10 years. In addition to this, the network has been designed in a manner so that
the network is designed with a minimum cost.
Conclusions
For conclusion it can be said that the expansion and the improvement of the networking
structure is very important for the AnyCompany Organization. For the implementation of the
network a detailed analysis of the current situation of the company is required. The report
19

provides the analysis of the current systems of the company. The project proposal,
methodology and timetables has been provided in this report. In addition to this, technical
solutions and evaluation of the technical solutions have also been provided in this report. In
addition to this it is also known that the project can be completed in 92 days. The total budget
of the project is around $ 125,940. The network makes use of only a single router and this
router is assigned with the address 128.0.0.0/01. Hence, all the objectives and the needs
statement for the project is met.
