• Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born at Rameswaram
based at Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu to the working class Tamilian

• He was born on 15th October 1931 and his father Jainulabdeen was a
boat owner and mother Ashiamma was housewife.
