As per Andersen (2018), the first barrier for APNs in the state of Nevada is the lack of
collaborative practice as it was mentioned in the report of Thompson (2018) that due to
multiple variation of the United States and associated scope of practice people does not
understand the importance of this care practice. This is the barrier that exerts its effects on
state as well as national level because collaborative practice can enhance the treatment
process and thus the lack of these services increases the burden on the healthcare cost. As a
consequence of that the overall medical expenses are increased making it difficult for both
the state and national level government to frame policies (Andersen, 2018).

As per Grimes et al. (2018), competition and determination of the APNs are important
aspects that help them to understand the consumer protection objectives, quality improvement
and safety of the care processes. However, on the national level it is mentioned that the APNs
are not allowed to practice independently. This is done by the regulation of the prices of the
medical facilities, products, delivery of the treatment process and so on. Similarly on the
State level, there is certain scrutiny over the APN from the committees made by the State
legislation that might affect the ability of the APN to practice freely.

aspects such as development of State Board of Nursing Professionals in the state of Nevada
so that they could understand the legislations which is important for the conduction of the

as CDC are the professionals that are associated with the interest groups that would be
responsible for the identification and development of groups which would help the
government and the health care department of the organisation to understand the importance
of it (Thompson, 2018).

As per Tweedie, Cooper and Banerjee, (2018), there are multiple strategies and
processes are used by the care professionals and healthcare facilities that help to spread the
awareness of the legislations and help them to understand the way they should implement
them for the amendment in the legislations and processes. In this process, it is mentioned that
with application of effective care professionals and conducting surveys among the higher
authorities would help them to understand the importance of it and they would be able to
conduct these processes for the amendment in the care process. There should be proper steps
by the nursing leaders in order to bring change in the culture of the organization. Finally there
should be removal of the communicative barriers in order to improve the treatment process.
