Cultural web analysis
The cultural web consists of certain components including the stories of the company,
i.e., Apollo Tires, symbols, power structure, organisational structure, control systems, rituals
and routines and the paradigm.
Stories: The organisation understands and explains itself by sharing the tagline “Go the
______________ Distance”, which represents the good quality tyres that are being sold for
allowing people to move a long distance without any hassle.
Rituals and Routines: The Company has accepted the automobile sector norms, rules,
regulations and practices and even prioritised on the Safety on Road and Safe driving policies
and laws to offer customers the best experience while driving along with convenience and
safety (Alexander, Murray and Thompson 2017).
Symbols: Apollo Tyres has represented the culture with the help of managing a diverse
cultural heritage and at the same time, created more scopes and opportunities for the people
to learn about the diverse cultural environment, thereby, explore the different dimensions.

The company also made sure to encourage various opportunities and influence people to
develop on the cultural integration of groups and promote behaviours among the customers as
well while they make purchases from Apollo Tyres in India.
Organisational Structures: The organisational follows a hierarchical structure where multiple
departments consisting of people work together as an unit. Moreover, the top down approach
has allowed the manager or leader to guide the subordinates down order to ensure smooth
business functioning as a whole (McDONALD and Foster 2013).
Power Structures: The manager, employees, shareholders and suppliers, all are responsible
for managing the power structures and systems within the workplace of the organization.
Control Systems: The top down approach has been followed ensure control over things and
how it could be done. Moreover, the control system should also benefit the manager or leader
to guide the employees towards the shared vision and accomplish the strategic goals
effectively (Alexander, Murray and Thompson 2017).
