Kamloops, 19th April 2020 – On behalf of the entire team at Sandman Signature, I, the General
Manager of this resort, would like to thanks each one of you to give us the time to arrange for a
press release. I am really ashamed for the unprecedented accident that happened at our resort on
the 10th of April afternoon, where a marriage reception party was organized. Everything was fine
until when the newly married couple posted a video in their Instagram profiles of a mouse eating
away their food off the wedding buffet. After that there have been a lot of rumours going out
against us, I want to provide my explanations against those (Nicoll, 2015).
Our group of hotels and resorts has for the past few years turned their objective towards the
betterment of hospitality services all around the world (Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotels,
2020). All the members involved in this community have always tried their best to provide the
best of services. We have always worked efficiently like a family, and treat our guests as our
own family members. We are always concerned about the comfort and solace of our guests. We
always try to improve ourselves by following our guest’s feedback. I really want to express my
gratitude to all the people who have believed in us and showed confidence in us for the past
years. Our guests are the main factor for our growth and development. We have always tried to
update ourselves with the modern facilities so that our guests don’t have to face any difficulties.
We organize and hold various kinds of meetings, conferences and occasions including birthdays.
We are very fortunate to have our guest’s faith in us to organize auspicious event like weddings.

acres with lush greenery, there is a pool, a bar, a gymnasium, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a big
conference hall with strength of 50 people and a big hall where 200 plus people could be
accommodated with catering services. We have always tried to provide the most fresh, hygienic
and tastiest of foods and that’s why we have the most efficient chefs in our kitchen who can cook
dishes from all over the world. The hotel has received various awards and prizes for its
hospitality services (Wang et al, 2014).
The incident which happened in our hotel was a very unfortunate one. I was not at all aware of
this incident, later when I got to know, I was very disappointed with my own group. Being a
representative of my team, I owe an explanation to the wedding party for this accident for the
overall welfare and future of our hotel. I would not try to defend the incident as it would be
unfair to the emotions of the people but I consider this as my responsibility towards the hotel as
well as towards the wedding party. I got to know that just few meters away from our hotel there
is a barren land. Recently the local people of this area have made that barren ground as a garbage
dumping area. And that is why that piece of land has become much polluted, filled with pungent
smell and a house of rodents. The mouse that was seen on that day has probably come from that
area, as till date we haven’t faced complaints like this. We have always been careful about the
cleanliness and hygiene of our hotel (Sumner et al., 2014).
Thus, I would like to conclude by saying that the entire team of Sandman Signature would like to
express their sincere regret to the wedding family and asks for an apology for that incident. We
have decided to make a financial compensation with the wedding party and would like to
organize another small and cozy party to compensate for their financial losses. The party will be
organized and financed by us and the wedding family will don’t have to worry about anything.
We have also taken steps regarding that barren piece of land and have sent a complain letter to
