Introduction
Human resource management is a way through which recruitment and employee management
occur. For the purpose of this report, the highly advanced technological company Apple Inc
has been considered. In the following report, various aspects such as the purpose of HR
activities and how they assist subordinates to perform better will be put forth. Apart from that
a recruitment process in which I will take place will also be explored and how candidates are
selected. For the purpose of this study, the position of a software developer is selected so that
an operating system can be created within Apple.

Apple Inc is a multinational American Technology enterprise that provides products such as
computers, phones, software, and others. The mission of the organisation is to be an elite
innovator when it comes to electronic products. The purpose of the companies to conduct
research, higher diversify and skilled subordinates and grow their market share (apple.com,
2019). The core objective of the company is to perform innovations so that it can outrank
other companies in a similar field.

There are several purposes of the human resource management team:
To diversify the employee pool within the organisation by recruiting subordinates

practices
Process
There are multiple human resource processes practices that the company can perform. These
processes include aspects such as diversifying the employee base, helping the management
understand the needs of the employee, creating a better relationship between colleagues and
others. In order to elaborate further, for diversifying the employee base within Apple Inc, The
HR personnel can recruit candidates who are from different races and genders. This will help
them be under the same roof to operate better. Similarly in order to create superior employee
relations within Apple Inc, monthly or even weekly basis meetings can be conducted within
the organisation through which the needs of the employees can be known. In addition to this,
the human resource management can conduct business meetings and other gatherings through
which the managerial heads and subordinates can bond at a personal level (Jackson et al.,
2014).
Rationale
The reason why all these activities are performed is two-fold. Firstly the organisation focuses

Flexible working within Apple gives employees the chance through which they can work on
the time which they feel would be most productive for them. Through techniques such as this,

Conclusion
The above-conducted report can be divided into two parts for Apple Inc. In the first section of
this study, a general overview of all the human resources practices and how they can help the
productivity of an employee is explored. Their aspect suggests recruitment and selection,
performance management, reward system and others have been explored. In the second part
of this report, the position of a software developer has been chosen so that a candidate can be
selected for the organisation to develop an operating system. In the above-conducted study, it
has been determined that Ryan is a good potential candidate for the role that has been
described.
