This report will depict the ongoing problem faced by the company Apple. Apple is the leading
mobile phone company that provides customers smartphones with IOS technology. Importance
of CSR will also be explained in this report and the impact of Brexit on the Apple will also be
discussed.

Apple is a multinational company that works in the technological sector and is headquartered in
California, Cupertino (America). It provides, develops, and designs online technological
services, software of computer, consumer electronic, and other technology related products and
services. One of the major issues that have been observed to be faced by the Apple Company is
the growing competition from the companies that sells android smartphones like Samsung,
Oneplus, and many more such companies.
These problems are arising because the android smartphones are easier to use. The main
difference between the android and IOS technology is that the android is a system of open source
which in simple term means that there are no restrictions, anyone can modify and use it
according to their preferences and this allows every manufacturer of the mobile phone to use the
system of android, whereas, IOS technology has system of closed source which means that only
Apple privately can use this and also there is an official version of this system. This is the reason
because of which the use of android is increasing.
For overcoming this problem, Apple Company can take a course of action which is to make the
IOS technology half open source system and half closed source system. This will allow them to
attract customers who use android system smartphones. Making the source of system open and
closed both may be is difficult for company but this course of action can make major impact on
the sales of the IOS technology phones.

Corporate Social Responsibilities can be defined as the way in which a company manages their
processes of the business in order to produce an impact on the society which will be positive.
This includes ethical impacts, social impacts, and also sustainability and also this includes core
business which consists how the company makes money. Strategy can defined as the actions’
plan that is designed for achieving an overall objective in a long-term. It is very important for the
companies to link strategy and Corporate Social Responsibilities as by linking the strategy to the
Corporate Social Responsibilities the company can work in strategic, ethical, and social way
which is very beneficial for the company growth.
Apple has taken many initiatives in the Corporate Social Responsibilities like the program of
‘Global Volunteer’ which has been launched for encouraging the employees of the company to
take part in volunteering in the local communities and also after the revision of the program an
employee has given the right to choose in which community the person want to put focus on and

want to contribute. This has made many positive impacts on the local communities and also the
image and reputation of the company (Apple) increase very much from this initiative. The CSR
project of Apple has made the society clean, provided the poor with foods and other
requirements.
How do you think brexit will affect your chosen organization?
Brexit refers from British exit, which means the UK decide in June 2016, referendum towards
leaving the European Union. After the voting results, it decreases the expectations and directly
affects the global markets. Due to this reason the British pound fall and decline against the dollar
within 30 years.
It is investigated that Brexit affects many companies such as prices, investment, sales and
employment. It is estimated that after referendum 6% decrease in investment in the first two
years. On the other hand, 1.5% of employment is also decreasing. Brexit effect directly affects
the apple prices. Due to Brexit effect Apple Company increases its rates in the UK to drop within
the value of the pound. Apple increases the costs of UK products for securing the bottom stage.
Maximize regulatory complexities within UK and EU changes affect the company operations as
well as financial conditions.
Brexit is not only the one reason that affects the apple business but also customers interest is also
affect. British pound against The US dollar breaks down from $1.50 to $1.37. This significant
change towards currency decreases the pound rate. Currency exchange rate plays a vital role and
affects apple exports. Due to threats and weakness of the foreign currency against the dollar is a
significant issue for Apple (Dhingra,et. al., 2016).

Benefits of working in a team are:
All the members of the team members agreed to do work for business goals and milestones. It
helps to build tasks and complete correctly. Effective communication method helps to the team
members to discuss all the issues and quarries with each other. It is also helpful to solve the
problems inappropriately. It supports to clarify the outcomes and provide positive results. Team
members are the backbone of the company without their support and coordination; it is not
possible to achieve goals and objectives.
Challenges: It demands interpersonal abilities and interactions. Decrease the selection criteria of
talents, the burden of communication and misunderstanding among employees creates problems.
It is challenging for the organization. Workload distribution disturbs employee abilities because
many employees do the same work. Due to the requirements of the active management affect
business projects. Lack of face to face interaction of team members affects the business (Conde,
et. al., 2016).
Skills areas:

In the field of conflicts resolution, it is essential to develop an effective strategy to find out the
appropriate solution. Self-improvement and time management should be prepared because self-
improvement provides the chances to do work smartly and understand the situations faster.
Effective communication style helps to clear the vision and mission.
