deeds are both morally and legally right (Robinson, 2017). They acts like checklists to set the
good behaviors from the wrong behaviors. Ethical standards serve to guide in decisions making
in the companies. In most cases companies have found themselves in the dilemmas between
choosing on following the ethical standard or the company’s interests (Hartnell, 2017). This
assessment aims at describing an ethical leader of choice touching on the entitled traits,
perception of the scene and analysis of the ethical lens.
Ethical Leader
Todd carpenter is an ethical leader of interest in this paper. Todd is the managing director
at the Colorado Children’s hospital. Todd’s main focus is on pediatric intensive care unit. It is his
corporate responsibility to ensure everything in the hospital is working in the right order. Todd
holds a very critical position of ensuring the hospital is managed effectively. It is also his
responsibility to balance the work force, resources, and ensure children at the hospital is attended

staffs. Every staff views on the condition is taken on account without any discrimination.
The second and most important trait of Todd is focus in the team building. As it has been
mentioned in the previous paragraphs, Todd is a very good team player. He provide a conducive
environment to other staffs whenever they are working together to attain a certain pediatric goal.
He does not discriminate staffs on the basis of experience or expertise. Everyone in the team is
given equal and respectable chance to contribute on the project on hand. Junior staffs are
encouraged to develop their careers by working diligently and observation of the senior staffs.

in an organization. He has been able to achieve most rewards for exemplary performances in the

live into my values and principles even if people don’t value my perspectives. I strongly believe
this is true. I stand with the truth even when people don’t believe in what I am standing for. My
Lens represents deontology theory. My primary value indicates how I prioritize between
rationality and sensibility as well as an autonomy and equality. This lens guide on how to
responsibly consider my ethical principle effectively. I rarely consider the views and
perspectives of others at the working environment and society at large. In respect to the lens I
value justice, honest and equality to all no matter the perspectives of others. This is guided by
deontological perspective where the own principle is considered in the decision making along the

Stakeholders in Paradigm Toys form a very important part of the organization. They
influence policies and programs formulation. Primary stakeholders are those stakeholders that
affect or engage into financial transactions of the company directly (Todd, 2017). They are
usually affected by financial activities performed by the company. Primary stakeholders at
Paradigm Toys are the board of directors, employees and clients.
Secondary stakeholders, on the other hand, consist of the groups of people who although
they are not actively involved in financial transactions, they are affected by the actions of the

Corporate Social Responsibilities
I am appointed to perform an ethic audit and come up with programs and policies at
Paradigm Toys. This include to address the legal and ethical mandates of the company which is
an international market leader in the manufacture of the quality toys. My responsibility is to
make sure all employees are aware of the ethical codes and conducts fostered in the pursuit of
quality products. The company main goal is to attain excellence in production of quality toys.

company make profits (Bohata, 2018). One of the easiest ways of making profits is through
responsible management. This give profits and in return rewards dividends to the stakeholders.
Paradigm Toys must be a profitable venture to remain responsible economically in business.
The needs of secondary stakeholders are met through respect to the legal and rule of law.
Paradigm Toys management is required to make profit within a defined legal structure.
Government agencies regulate the business through establishments of the laws and regulations to
which the board of directors must ensure the company observe (Certo, 2018). Paying of taxes
and licenses is also a way to meet the corporate and social responsibilities of the secondary stake
holders.
Lastly, Paradigm meets the corporate social responsibilities by giving back to the society
over the philanthropic charities. This improves the welfare of the society holistically.
