I am writing this letter to seek admission for the Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (G100) and
Mathematics with Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics (G1F3) at the Imperial College
London. Mathematics and Physics have fascinated me from a very early age. Ever since then I
knew that I wanted to explore and gain a better understanding of the subjects. My appreciation
for Mathematics was raised by the fact that logical solutions are used to derive theorems that are
governed by axioms. My never-ending quest for deriving solutions and learning functions and
my punctilious attention assisted me in achieving A+ grad in Mathematics (Pure and Futher) at
the GCE Advanced Level. I have also secured A grade in Economics and Physics at the GCE
Advanced Subsidiary.

I have qualified the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). I acquired the
knowledge on importance of prime numbers in cryptography and privacy protection. I have
learnt to convert Goldbach Conjecture into addition set problems. I have attended science
festivals held at the University of Cambridge.
I wish to study here for the Bachelor’s program because I found the subjects are taught in an
attractive and job-oriented manner. I sincerely believe that the Bachelor course will offer me the
greatest opportunity to expand my education in meaningful avenues of interest. I hope that my
