I would like to apply for the role of Selection and Recruitment officer as, in my
view, I can a perfect candidate for this post. I have seen your advertisement and it
clearly state that University is seeking an experts instead of freshers. I have worked
on similar post in last five years where my job responsibilities were almost the same
which is mentioned in your advertisement. Recruitment space in area of my interest
and I am passionate about it. All of my education qualification are in human
resource field.
I am a multitasker so it will not be difficult for me to support my team in
recruitment process. I know that more core working area will be selection but I can
manage both at same time. Although I am not aware of the strategic goals of
''Faculty of Business and Economics'' but I can use my past experiences and
knowledge in improving and implementing present business process. In my previous
job, I was responsible for keeping fine coordination between HR department and
Deputy Dean. I can assure you that my creative solutions will help University in
resolving various issue without making thing complicate.
I did a basic research about University of Melbourne; I found that cultural
diversity is main part of University’s culture. I would be delighted to give my
contribution in same field as I also want learn more about different cultures. I am
confident that my ability to work as an individual and in a team will be great
assistance to my department. I will be my honour to work with Academic program
directors, Deputy Dean and recruitment wing. I have ability to understand that
strengths and weaknesses on a person in short period of time i.e. in an interview. I
