was losing customers due to bad service to customers but I have served them well and thus
get appreciated by the CEO for my work and also get encouragement to carry on.
Furthermore, I had the work of maintaining all the documents, customer details, orders,
packing details, etc. I also attended board meetings to discuss on strategies of operations.
Being experienced, I have the job of handling my colleagues, all the products, as well as to
ensure smooth, efficient and effective working of all activities, especially during night time. I
also supervise all the overnight activities as the leader of a team of three. All these have
helped me develop my administrational as well as my leadership skills, both of which are
extremely important for running a successful business.
There are various units like Applied Business Challenge and International Business Challenge in
which a person needs to work hard individually as well as work together in a team. They are
regarded as Professional Development courses, which helps in development of various skills like
proposing business concepts and solving various problems. Once, I was a team leader and it was my
responsibility to ensure that my team provides quality assignments, to assign tasks to the members
of my team according to their speciality and capabilities, and manage their tasks and meetings, to
help out if there was any problem as we had to reach our milestone within the scheduled time.
Responsibility, trustworthiness, accountability and leadership abilities are key to be a project
manager. My project management ability and skills has been received well by my colleagues and
lecturers who have given good feedbacks about me and our team’s project.
Although my communication and leadership skills are good, I still try to improve them as much as
possible in order to get better in future.
