Aquaman and Poseidon belong to the venture of DC Comics. Both Aquaman and
Poseidon projected content that was received like a cultural influence. Both the
characterisation of DC received a vast reach and fandom with respect to the power reflected
over natural phenomenon and nature’s element. In the storyline of Aquaman and Poseidon,
the audience can experience a number of similarities along with the recognisable differences
(Rhea). Both Aquaman and Poseidon’s storyline involved the plot of controlling. The weapon
of Trident was utilised by the content plot of both DC ventures (GROSSO). The application
of Sonar, which was the echo location, was used in both the Aquaman and Poseidon. In both
the content projection, there was a similar sense of relationship in terms of Injustice
Universe’s Aquaman and with the universe’s Poseidon. Poseidon was being characterised as
a Greek God, which allowed the power of manipulating storms, lightning, water and waves
(GROSSO). Although, the characterisation of Aquaman was different due to the depiction of
human characteristics, both the related character included the power of strength and

Aquaman and Poseidon portrayed the features of strength and power of control under the
water level (Rhea). Another significant similarity between Aquaman and Poseidon was the
source of deriving the characters and storyline from ancient Greek Mythology by portraying
the God of the sea.
