Arcadia Group is successful and famous company as I think it provide various
opportunities to improve my experience and capabilities. This company is one of the most
desirable company by the various people and I also like all the things and products sold by itself.
This is the main reason that I want to work for Arcadia Group. As this company is very
competitive and popular that provide me huge chances of my personal and professional growth.
If I join this company then I put my best efforts for meeting my goals and objectives. Along with
this, the environment in which workers are perform is also good and positive. As management
also value their staff members and make them positive towards their goals. In context of this,
Arcadia Group is a best place for me to enhance my skills and knowledge that support me in my
future and professional career. Being a part of this company, I show my talent and skills for
Arcadia Group to attain all the set goals and objectives. For my career, this company is the right
place wherein I can improve my abilities to handle entire activities and make itself more
productive for company.
2. Tell us about a time you worked in a group to achieve an objective (what did you do and
what was the outcome?)
I worked in OXFAM as a customers assistant for one year in which I had various
responsibilities to receiving donations, sorting, valuing and pricing donated stock. Along with
this, I also provide customers services & operating the till & credit card machine. All these
helped me in providing outstanding level of services to customers and met their needs in
effective way. Furthermore, I also worked assistant manager in same company for 6 month in
which I played a various responsibilities like completing daily or weekly financial report to
maintain the proper budget, managing donation, maximizing the income from donations, new
products such as Fair trade and Gift Aid. I also provide excellent customers services to attain
their satisfaction level. At this time, I assist general manager in leading strong operational
process that drive profitability and making team able to handle multiple task and retail skill set.
On the other side, currently I worked in Hotter as a customers assistant in which I play various
roles and responsibilities such as providing friendly customers services, keeping store well
stocked and organized, ability to perform their work effectively towards the set targets. For

attaining best achievement, I tries to manage or develop a great customers services and also
receive excellent feedback from customers in order to improve overall performance of company.
3. Tell us about a time when you identified a new approach to solve a problem. (what did
you do and what was the outcome?)
When I worked in OXFAM I was learn how to perform multi task like collecting fund,
manage donation, operating till and many more. As it helped me in improving my abilities to do
every task in effective manner. Along with this, when I performed all these task company was
provide few members in my team. It little bit complicated for me when I perform my task and
activities. In this, I also learned that how to manage workers and my team members to
effectively. It help in me improving my abilities to accept challenges and manage team working
in systematic way. With the assistance of this, I can easily attain all the set goals and objectives
and also improve the chances of reducing the issues and conflicts among team members.
4. Tell us about a time when you had to manage a number of different priorities and
complete a number of tasks in a short amount of time (what did you do and what was the
outcome?)
When I worked in OXFAM, I had various roles and responsibilities that performed by me
in attaining my targets. As. I played roles related to Receiving donations, sorting, valuing &
pricing donated stock and so on. At the time of this, I face issue related to short period of time
that negatively impact on my end goals and targets. In this, my major role in OXFAM is to
provide excellent services to customers in order to attain their satisfaction. But due to less period
of time, I fail in managing better relation with customers that negatively impact on company
performance. Furthermore, I also responsible for managing team members for effectively
execute their targets. In this, as a assistant manager I also manage the work related to the
managing donations and also complete daily and weekly financial report. With the help of this, I
can easily manage all the records and maintain proper and systematic budget.
5. Tell us about a project you worked on that required you to persuade others to your point
of view (what did you do and what was the outcome?)
In OXFAM, we were allotted a project of donation management in which we tries to
effectively done the same and improve the society welfare. In our different people are work and

also put their views points to set a approach to systematically manage the donations. In this, my
team members suggest that, we should apply direct donation management so that people can
donate their clothes, accessories for people. But as per my views, we have to focus on human
touch in which we can communicate with people about their emotion and hard time they go
through. This type of approach is more effective to make people connective so that they can
donate their clothes and accessories easily and also tries to put their efforts for society develop.
With the help of this, company can easily connect with society and provide them services for
their development.
