INTRODUCTION
This report is based in the group based assignment of the arceomittal steel case study.
The purpose of this report is to critically discuss individual contribution to the teams work and to
identify strengths and weaknesses along with ways of improving work in the future. A suitable
summary of the overall case presented by the team is also provided in this report.
MAIN BODY
Summary of the case
This case is based on the arceomittal steel company which is a recognized mining
enterprise. The case presented by the team in PPT utilizes various models and theories to
analyses the current strategic position for arceomittal steel. Some of the applied frameworks are
SWOT analysis and analysis of company strategy.
Critical Discussion based on individual contribution
The group consisted of five members and each member was given a task to complete
specific portion of the presentation according to their skills and knowledge. The company for the
presentation was Accor, it was important that each member of the team researched about the
company so that they are able to use the collective information to make the specific portion of
the ppt more accurate. In addition to this, work was also divided between members on the basis
of their theoretical knowledge. All these actions supported high quality work as activities were
given to right individuals who have experience in applying specific theoretical models and
frameworks on businesses (Gregory, 2021).
In context of all work that potion of PowerPoint presentation, which is given included
writing the introduction to the overall PowerPoint presentation. This was an important job which
needed to be completed effectively as it was the first slide of the presentation after description of
name of team members. The introduction had to be completely flawless so that the presentation
looks even better and gives the best first impression. Introduction of a PowerPoint presentation
includes data about the aim of the presentation, along with the description of the main case
provided in the presentation.
Writing introduction to a professional PowerPoint presentation requires knowledge of
Academic writing. The concept of academic writing is defined as Scholarly writing, which is
produced in order to complete Research papers, dissertations, and business reports (Sarauw,

Degn and Ørberg, 2019). Academic writing is concise here and backed up by evidence along
with proper structure, so that the reader is easily able to understand the main subject written in
the specific academic paper. The introduction was written after understanding the academic
writing so that it is grammatically correct and can be easily understood by their leader. It helped
ensure that the flow of the introduction remains easy to follow.
Writing an introduction is important to ask because it sets the stage for the overall
presentation or report and provides the general context of the specific report (Sarauw, 2021). it
defines the main purpose of the report and captures the aim of the airport in an easy to
understand manner so that the reader is able to understand future expectations in context of the
presentation. The aim of the introduction is to get attention of the reader so that they are able to
easily understand the overall content and purpose of the report. In context of developing an
introduction for a PowerPoint presentation the amount of data provided by the introduction needs
to be concise so that the power point presentation looks creative and easy to follow.
In context of the specific case study, typing an introduction to the PowerPoint
presentation required understanding the background of the respective company occurred. Own
research on the background and founding of the company helped in creation of an effective
introduction which defined the organization's electric for the PowerPoint presentation as well as
the main aim of the airport. The introduction was provided as a short paragraph with a clear
structure highlighting the background and future aim of the respective company Arceomittal
steel.
The main strength of the introduction was that it was concise in nature, so that the reader
does not get distracted by looking at the introduction. This helped ensure that the reader is able to
follow through all sides of the presentation and get effective view of the main content provided
in case of the specific presentation. In addition to this, another strength of the introduction was
that it engaged with readers attention to providing background into formation about the
respective company Arceomittal steel. In addition to this, the data provided in the presentation
was also backed up by evidence as given in the reference of the PowerPoint.
The primary weakness of all contribution towards the presentation which was
introduction part is that it was not completed in an attractive manner. This meant that the
introduction was not attractive and helpful in grabbing the reader's attention even to interesting
eating with sufficient background content on the company. Preparing a suitable presentation

requires every slide to be attractive, with different types of visual content such as image,
animation logos, et cetera. The absence of visual simulation from the presentation was one of the
primary weaknesses of the presentation.
In order to make improvements in future presentation, the main tasks which will be
conducted includes learning about ways to make power point presentation more beautiful and
attractive. This can be completed with the help of taking online classes regarding the usual to
various PowerPoint presentation tools to make a presentation more attractive and engaging
(Meyer, 2021) . In addition to this, another step which will be taken when writing introduction in
future PowerPoint presentation assignments includes learning more about referencing so that
references can be collected with the to improve evidence back information introduction.

CONCLUSION
From the above report, it is concluded that creating a presentation within team assignments is a
difficult task. It involves dividing various portions of the PPT to the members on the basis of
their interests and capabilities. In addition to this, forming a presentation also involves learning
about different tools which can be used to make their presentation easier to understand and more
attractive to the reader.
