PERSONNAL STATEMENT 2
In the past years, I have met people asking me this question, why did you choose architecture or
rater what’s more interesting in architecture that made you chose it over other professions? I
have never had a simple or common answer to this. Perhaps it is because of my likeness towards
construction and painting since my childhood days. By extension, I have this great likeness and
urge to create things for myself which meets my imagination of the color, space, and materials.
In addition, I think the professions of my greater persons also had a great inspiration to me as my
father is an electrical engineer, with m mother being a structural engineer.
The professions have influenced a desire in me, giving me vast scope, of whatever is in the field,
since my childhood. Likewise, after taking five years in the school of architectural design and six
years in the architectural design fieldwork, I also got myself asking the same question. The
outcome was that besides the reasons aforementioned above, the facts which really intrigues my
great inspiration towards architecture is the intrinsic appeal, which reflects the maxim scribed in
the department of architecture building; “Architecture is the combination of art and technology.”
Perhaps when one is engraved in what he likens, then the person never feels tired but motivated
to have a truly enriching experience.
The five years I spent in north-south University, pursuing architecture truly transformed my
thoughts and imagination on the area o profession into a comprehensive understanding and
systematic knowledge. The transformation primarily lies in my skills in the fine arts. Besides my
earlier interest in fine arts and skills, the architectural study inspires me to utilize the fine
aesthetic elements in fine art such as lighting and color to utilize them in architecture. I had a
unique dedication, such that at times I would spend the whole night or even the whole weekend
in the studio trying to get things to work on my side. Nonetheless, the basic architectural courses
such a material science, mechanics and structure make me realize that architecture contributes

more to functionality, and practicality, apart from the aesthetic elements. The period of five years
of architectural study gives an intricate understanding of architecture, that it is also part of other
cultures, which implies that it is influenced by other cultures, and as well influences other
cultures in different ways.
Due to my childhood background as well as spirited moral in architecture, I did perform
marvelously in c my college class, receiving a number of awards, as well as securing multiple
scholarships from different quarters. Besides the classwork, I was fully cognizant of the fact that
architecture goes deeper beyond knowledge, I ventured into the creativity and innovation
aspects. An excellent architecture designer needs both the knowledge and skills, as well as
nourishment from engineering, material science, fine arts as well as culture (Ceccato et al.,
2016). Inline to that, I did extensive research the architectural history of various nations, in the
aspects of modern and contemporary masterpieces, and gained insights on their concepts of
design which are defined by innovation and creativity.
The knowledge which I gained from the efforts which I put forwards have significantly
heightened my interest and desire for creation. An instance that derailed my performance a bit
was a road accident that I got involved in 2014 where I broke my legs, taking three years to get
back it in the positions. Nonetheless, I have never given up and my desire has always been high.
I did get a chance to put into practice the knowledge which I had gained so far in architectural
design when I was in my last year in college. After completion of fifth year, I managed to get an
internship with north-south university as a research assistant: guess worker, and the experiences
which I gained from increased my insight into the connection between a buildings space and its
functionality, in addition to one of the significant aspects considered when designing a building
structure; architectural design's feasibility.

PERSONNAL STATEMENT 4
After graduating in the year 2017, I worked with an outstanding architectural design institute,
engaging as a research assistant as a guess worker. I was then successful in the following year,
working with the ministry of housing and public affairs, in the department of architecture as the
project architect. My outstanding skills and prominent outcome earned me the position of an
executive architect in the year that would follow, in a CRCC harbor and channel engineering,
bureau group company limited. Additionally, some other projects which I undertook include:
Design of A Performing Art Center- in which the concept was to create a school which is
so much close to the nature with its landscaping, classrooms orientations, and enough
green space
Design of a commercial building- in which the concept has placed the core at the west so
that it will block the heat. East part of the building will protect by the louvers. North will
give here some diffuse light and South parts are shaded by the green balcony. This
balcony can work as a breathing space for the Employees.
Design of a secondary high school- The task is to design a Secondary High School in an
imaginary area. This school must have classrooms, admin building, cafe, lecture rooms, a
library, and an auditorium.
Design of a high-rise building- The task is to design a high-rise building is Uttara site
with 30 floors. It's first and second floors will be worked as a bank. rest of the floors will
be worked as a commercial office space. At the middle of the building, it has its Electro-
Mechanical floor.
Urban and housing design- It was a group with six members. After studying urban
design, we got some basic ideas. Then we did a site analysis. After completing these
surveys, we started our design.

PERSONNAL STATEMENT 5
Tourist resort at Mongolia- In this Design, I've tried to implement the modern
architectural ideas in a naturally sustainable way. Again, I've considered its climate and
ecological surroundings while developing architectural designs. I give attention to the use
of indigenous materials and tectonic style
Real work: project Padma bridge- This is one of the mega projects in the world. I can
proudly say that I was an executive architect on this project. I've been working on this
since 2017till 2019. I was assigned to this project through the Ministry of Housing and
Public Works by the Department of Architecture. Because of my involvement in this, I
got my biggest job in my career to China's biggest construction firm CRCC in
Bangladesh, Dhaka. China invests $4.44Bto this project to build bridges pans and the
railway from Dhaka to Jessore through THE PADMA BRIDGE. My Job and the
responsibilities were making the design of it 6thand 11thspan, and working on their
tender works as well. Below are the real scenario work photos of the planting the span on
the PADMA river.
Paintings-Water color on paper, Acrylic on paper, Oil color on Canvas
The design experiences which I gained from these projects made me have much interest
in applying materials in projects. In the meantime, I also got to learn much and new ideas
while working on different projects.
All these experiences have created a positive impact on me and have sparked an urge to study
overseas so as to add to my existing architectural knowledge. My aspirations and intentions
are to get to know more about modern architectural history, with the illusions of creating my
own architectural conceptions. That Is what I yearn to do and have a strong belief that I can
make it.

PERSONNAL STATEMENT 6
The Graduate Program in masters of Architecture in Urban Design program will provide me with
an opportunity to understand the connection between utility and aesthetics, as well as
intensifying my knowledge in the field of architectural design (Xue et al., 2018). By extension,
my interest towards the incorporation of sustainable design criteria in architecture will also find
the best grounds for involvement and I would be much grateful. I hope to create a sort of
architectural design conception with characteristics of China's traditional culture which integrates
modern architectural technologies and theories. I thank you for your consideration and time.
