ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY ON, WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO REBUILD AMERICA BY DAVID
VON DREHLER
David Von Drehler came up with ideas that aimed to change lives and economy in America .He
wrote his ideas in a book called Time magazines which explains daily things happening in
America .Many Americans has changed their lives since they have knowledge on the trending
issues in America hence one is able to establish enterprises like business and be able to have
more profit from the business. Time magazine also have some limitations like exposing what the
government is doing secretly to the citizens of America and the non-citizens without the proper
knowledge of why the government is doing so (Jos pg. 78)
United States demand for electricity has gone down and only few citizens saw it coming since
no one expected such thing. This was shown by energy department that for a period of time,
electricity consumed by American citizens has been the same each and every year. In the year
2014-2015 electricity demand had decline in a bigger rate due to economic crash but United
States economy grew in inflation since few resources were used in electricity. The government
should lower public facilities cost so that all services should be accessed and made of use by
the citizens and the economy will grow to the maximum (Tim pg57)
United States is trying to come up with some ways of improving economic growth without using
much energy. These is the greatest step that our country is going to take since there will be no
power wastage .Power wastage will be reduced by building smaller scattered power plants so
that the distance between the generator and the customer will be reduced and as a result less
power will be lost. The appliances and lighting should be approved by energy department to
ensure they consume less power thus much power will be saved (Dan pg56)
Private investors are one of the plans the president will use to improve the economy. Private
money is attracted to the projects that have a dependable return of revenue by the amount of
money invested. The money gained from the private investors can be used in various ways so
as to improve the infrastructure. But even if the president has this idea he should put in mind
that not all investors are likely to generate profit for America and so he should ensure that those
allowed to invest in America should those who will help to improve the economy of America and
not to depreciate our economy (Scott pg. 98)
In conclusion, every president aims to increase the level of livelihood of the citizens of his
country. Our president has done so though he has not accomplished all he promised during his
campaigns. Since he became the president the economy has improved and America has a new
look in various sectors. These have been shown by the above statements on how success has
been gained in America economy. Other projects are yet to be accomplished and we all hope
that our economy will keep on improving.
